As I progress thru American Horror Story: Apocalypse, I am becoming more and more disappointed. Stevie Nicks singing because some guy passed teh 7 Wonders test and will be the first male Supreme???? Seems very CW, Witched of Waverly to me now.

^^^Ditto this - it is getting a bit far-fetched, even for this series. But I do find it amusing that the music they play for the post-Apocalypse is the same crap they pipe into our stairwells here to 'encourage exercising' - like I work on the Hellmouth....

Me: Caught up on "Saul", is it in some sort of mid-season lull? Great show.

Watching Season 7 of the office. Somehow I missed it. My teenagers made us promise to watch ep. 22 with them (Michael's last regular show).

My wife is excited about season 2 of "making a murderer". I'm not as excited.

We started 'The Haunting of Hill House' last night; saw Ep 1. Wow! Awesome horror show; the kind that scares you at a deep level.

Eyewitness War on National Geographic is pretty great. All the footage is from US Military personnel.

Finished it last night. All I can say is is wow. The ending is something else. The director outdid himself in a few scenes. There are a couple of continuous shot scenes that last 15-20 minutes; impressive. Made me curious of how many takes they needed to get them right.

Currently enjoying Trust : the dramatization of the 1973 kidnapping of John Paul Getty III. Produced and Directed by Danny Boyle. Excellent cast, beautifully shot; some slow paced / character building scenes and lots of faster paced sequences.

If you live in the UK, it is currently available on BBC iPlayer. Elsewhere, I believe it is available on YouTube.

Just finished season 1. Excellent, excellent show. One part made me scream like a lil bitch. In progress of searching for my man hood.

Have you started this yet? This may be next.

On a side note, this Sunday will be the last episode of The Walking Dead that I watch; Rick's last episode. Curious if he is going to be killed off or something different. Not a fan of the show or the Rick character. My girlfriend got me into watching it a few seasons back so I haven't watched it from the beginning but what I can say as an outsider is that it's terrible writing, direction and acting. I'm actually hoping Rick gets killed off.

haven't started yet. started watching SuperStore but i'll get around to checking it out

I finished watching the latest season of Walking Dead on Netflix i'm not sure if it's the same season you're talking about? that season was actually pretty good! I can't stand Eugene and his haircut and the priest is annoying too!

I was told to watch Shameless from my coworkers

I tried watching that earlier this year. Went in for several episodes before I stopped.

Currently finishing last season of American Horror Story while also watching the current. I do like that they're tying a few seasons together w/ the current one.

The Haunting of Hill House is next on the list.

Saw either the 5th or 6th episode last night and noticed the first extremely long, single-shot scene. WOW. Such impeccable timing even from the child actors. It's touches like that which make a show great; many viewers may not notice or care, but the team did it anyway to showcase their skill as a unit. Bravo to them.

Glad someone else noticed! I'm sure that most that watched didn't even notice but as you stated it's small touches like this that really make a difference to us that pay attention to detail. The entire scene in the funeral home with just the family was very impressive to say the least, so many conflicting personality twists and conversations being held at once and the depiction of the emotions involved....just wow. I called the girlfriends attention to the scene about midway through and started it over for her. She gets caught up in the story and doesn't notice the small things. I'm the guy that always comments on the backdrop, items used as props, tailoring of clothing and all the small things dropped in the background. She may secretly hate watching anything with me.
