Amazing race from Lewis, the guy is just incredible.
It's like max just stopped turning the wheel mid corner. It was so blatant that he tried to force Lewis off the track that even max couldn't stay on track.

Interesting call for the FIA, maybe it's maxfia

Or the dirty line and accelerated pace they both took into the corner racing each other cause them both to go off… it’s not like either was at a varying degree of speed during the entire event, therefore, if one was in a bad spot it’s likely both were. I am genuinely curious to see his steering wheel position as that will tell the tale. When watching live the camera switched to the rear footage at just the right (wrong) moment.

Yeah steering footage will tell. Either way it is what it is, I don't really care I just wanted to poke some fun.

Where do you guys get this data? From the f1 site and do you have to pay?

I normally watch f1 on my tv so I don't think I have any kind of f1 membership.

https://www.crash.net/f1/news/992372...tfacing-camera

Formula 1’s stewards did not have access to the forward-facing camera on Max Verstappen’s car when reviewing his defence against Lewis Hamilton during the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.

Masi admitted the missing front-facing camera was “potentially” a key piece of evidence but “we didn’t have access to it.”

“It hasn’t been obtained but it’s been requested,” Masi said. “That will be downloaded and we’ll have a look at them.”

No I don't have that (though I've always wanted to get it hah!), I just scour the old interwebs/youtube etc. Somebody always uploads it, but from what I've seen so far they haven't released the in-car footage from Max.

This might be bad news for Max if indeed he did just steer straight into Lewis.

Yeah I just checked the f1 site, you can pay a sub fee to have access to the cameras on the car and team radio and such. $80/year for the full exclusive everything pack and like $40/year for less features. Not bad, I pay around that much for a single UFC fight or boxing fight.

Can't really say I'm surprised, max's defenses are really agressive to the point of being border line dirty at times. When he was a rookie he used to swerve like crazy defending which was super reckless, he did some of that today too.

Also max always tries to push people wide on defenses, he did it to Lewis alot this year and well again today, and as per usual (except the few times he didn't) lewis backed out and avoided the crash.

On the subject of foul language I believe Wolf swore in his F1 confines on camera so will the Fia bring him to book for conduct unbecoming of a team manager.

You heard what Wolf said? I don't recall hearing audio from the Mercedes garage when the camera cut to Wolf after Lewis passed Max. You might think Wolf swore, but you didn't hear anything. If you're a lip reader, exactly what did he say?

Max has a history of bad manners and poor judgement when defending the overtake...and it was on display yesterday.
Without the in car camera footage, race control was handicapped.
Masi has confirmed Verstappen came close to receiving a black-and-white flag for the incident.
"It certainly came into my mind," conceded Masi. "I looked at it a few more times [and] it wasn't far off a black-and-white flag."

It's on the official F1 Instagram account. Pretty obvious to me he says F—- YES!

Wolf showing some emotion, not a bad thing. Good for the sport in my opinion.
Now to just get Horner to quit his Karening and we all good.

Not quite...Masi will look into Max's dirty driving.
Asked if the forward-facing on-board footage from Verstappen's Red Bull had been available when looking at the incident, Masi said: "It is only the cameras that are broadcast that are basically what we have access to throughout.
Regarding that forward onboard footage..."It hasn’t been obtained yet. It has been requested.”
Put to him this footage is the "smoking gun" in this instance, Masi conceded: “It could be, absolutely.
"But we didn’t have access to it. It has been downloaded and once the commercial rights holder supplies it, we will have a look.
Absolutely [I will look at it]. We’ve got the forward-facing, the 360…all of the camera angles that we don’t get live will be downloaded and we will have a look at them.”

Commercial rights holder is under no obligation to hand anything over as they are nothing to do with the actual running of a team.
