I think I'm going to look for a dark tinted bronze wheel to go with my TR cognac M2.

Thoughts?

Now see, that wheel in their solid dark bronze...., hmmmmmmmmmm.

Wow.... this setup looks really good. I've had great luck with Apex wheels over the years. And these are super strong and light!

A neat feature of the 827M's in motion is this inner double-layer ring from the spoke design: I like it a lot.

Just FYI - style 827M Front wheels are not in stock like anywhere. Four different parts suppliers say 4-6wks before they expect any. Rear wheels are available in 5-7days depending on who you ask.

Kind of risky to just snag one part number but I was hoping to grab a set to slap on at delivery as mod #3 (tint, ceramic first).

Part numbers: 36-10-8-093-840 and // 841

827M

Is this true for just the black wheels? I was considering the gold wheels for my brooklyn grey.

I just found the black ones on www.bmwpartshub.com for a crazy price and free shipping arriving March 15th.

I couldn't pass it up knowing they are limited qty items and the price is $500 lower. I'm super excited to get them!

Will look really good on BG after seeing the 1000M's. I prefer the 827 style and smaller size as well.

Hope yo I can find a good deal on them the premium over black is pretty high.

Update on 827's: they are only available out of Germany at this time and shop estimates 2-4wks before shipping them. Grrrr. At least I saved some money.

Hoping they get here before 4/8 when I get delivery!

I've decided on piano black for my set of wheels. I'll keep the OEM bicolor wheels in the garage just to have them but I think piano black is going to look great on ZB with the shadowline package and carbon roof. I'm planning on carbon mirror caps and window tinting too so I think that's going to be sharp.

I can't say what wheels yet, I'm actually working with someone and will be the launch car for them.

What's the difference between that and the OEM black?

Nothing except it didn't come on my car.

I'm just saying that after considering several finishes, including a bronze, I settled on a piano black when it came down to it. haha

Thanks but I tend to keep the oem parts of the cars in case of future selling (even though I intend on keeping this one forever).

Hey all,

I wanted to bump this thread to get eyes on our recent post. We're on the hunt for local G87 M2 volunteers. The details can be found here: https://g42.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1999974

We're happy to answer any questions you might have but if they are about the volunteer process, please use our thread as I don't want to derail this one.

It is showing 30 days on https://www.schmiedmann.com/. They usually have the best price for parts shipped to US. The 827M wheels are more expensive than other retailers.

I checked their site as well. These puppies are tough to source right now.

For other parts, they ship fast and are cheaper than others.

The wheel I'm going with is Richland Forged's interpretation of the new G82 M4 GTS/GT3 wheel (in the piano black I mentioned before). Should have them in 8-10 weeks. They anticipate launch later this spring. Cannot wait!
