how long does usually take from production finish to be in the port in Mexico?
My car is scheduled for production next week, and checking kline schedule to Europe the ship that stops in Barcelona is scheduled to depart February 2th from Veracruz. I guess that my car as final destination is Spain will be sent directly to Barcelona where I know for sure that the usual logistic carrier from BMW has facilities. BMW also has a large facility in Santander port where cars from Spartanburg, UK (Mini) and some cars from Germany arrives, but I don´t find any route from Altamira or Veracruz without transhipment so I ope that they use Barcelona as port of arrival. Did you know is the dealer, once the car is loaded, can see destination port? (here in Spain we don't have genius) |

I tracked people on this forum and got more accurate info than from the CA. I would say 5-6 months from order is your time frame for delivery. Hap |

As long as your dealer has the same access to the car that BMW Genius do, then I'd imagine so. Mine (UK based) was able to tell me that my car was going to Southampton.

Thanks!, got VIN and some updated delivery info today. The system shows as expected delivery date late March. I ask about transit ports and the will know once loaded in the vessel, but they expect that will go to Bremerhaven and from then to Santander as the dealer is about 1-1.5h drive from this port and BMW has a large facility there for cars from US, UK (mini) and Germany.
Also, regarding VIN in Europe, I can confirm mine has WBA VIN and model code for 240i RWD is 41CM, someone explaint why they use WBA here in Europe. |

My 230i is finally on its way! Ordered in August, built in October and it's finally found a ship to Australia ... via Rio de Janiero?! I presume it's going around the south of South America. It's due in Australia in a bit over one month, so it should get to me late March or early April - really looking forward to it of course.

Europe got a bigger batch of 2-series last few weeks. I have picked mine yesterday (ordered in September, built date mid-November). I know at least one more person here who got his 😏

Mine was built mid January and expected delivery date is late March. I'm monitoring kline vessels and the have about 1 week delay. My best guess is that my car should be loaded in Horizon Highway that was scheduled to dock in Veracruz yesterday but is still waiting outside the port, the previous vessel was scheduled to dock in Altamira (after Veracruz stop) on 31 but enter de dock today (4) in the afternoon. So, I guess no good news for those like me waiting a car in Europe because the vessels are delayed about one week. We don't have genius here so everything is just a guess in my case. |

Mine has only showed the exterior and interior colors in that section, but with the developer tools I can see a lot more codes are listed under options for my build. I think a lot of times they don’t list all/ most of your options on the tracker. You should be fine! And you can always check with your CA if you’re concerned. |

anyone used importinfo to tack their car? Are VIN numbers listed in the Master BOL or only a description. (in their paid suscription)
We don't have genius here and maybe this way we can be sure about vessel |

This is how I’ve been viewing the details for mine: - Start from the My Garage page (don’t click on track my vehicle) - Press the F12 key or right click & inspect to open developer tools - Click on “network” —> “fetch/xhr” - In the list under “name”, pick the one that has response code 200 & “ProdVehicleDetails” in the dataContent (when you click on preview) - Expand the sections under ProvideVehicleDetails - You’ll see a bunch of data, including the order status code and options I’m not sure if this is complete / has every single option for the car or not. But I know it has more than they display on the screen. I only checked a few for mine and it included “0ZPP” which is the premium package, so I figured it’s fine. Here’s a link to some of the codes for options that I found online (not sure how inclusive/ up to date it is): https://www.******.com/threads/option-code-list.3255/ And here’s a screenshot of mine: |

New member, just ordered today. Only took me about 2 weeks to get an allocation. Actually got one two days ago, I texted them one change from the build I originally submitted (wheels & tires) but they said it was getting kicked back. Seemed odd as the production number still showed as “scheduled for production” and the sales manager said it was still status code 112. But the next morning it had moved to production/150, so I guess that makes sense and it was just too late to make a change.
But they were able to trade for another allocation yesterday and I just got back from finalizing the order, was able to get my staggered non-RFT wheels/tires this time. Website says “order received” but on their internal system it was showing as 14th week production. The one interesting thing was that today the system allowed him to delete the illuminated BMW. I like it on the door cards, but the dash is a bit much for me. He said the system took it, so it shouldn’t get kicked back, but I guess we’ll see. So the wait begins, I don’t really need a car until my daughter turns 16 in late-November, but of course the sooner, the better at this point. I’ve gained lots of knowledge reading this forum, happy to be here and excited to get this car. |
