Just blocked a so-called "friend" from a well known M car group. If you post a monumentally stupid political meme and get called on it, don't delete the comment. Deal with it.

I turned down a pro soccer career in England at 17 because I didn't like being away from from a girl.... Everyone thinks it was because I was homesick. Effectively retired after that. Went to a D1 school and played well but i turned down offers from top 5 schools to play at a school that was 30 mins away. Rejected going to the combine stopped playing. Then I wound up breaking up with her. Yikes.

My wife sometimes likes it, when I get really drunk 🥴
She says I'm a super sexhero when I'm drunk. I take that as a compliment. |

When i was 17 Idknow why but I use to rev my e90 to 7000rpm with a cold engine. I did it to show off the exhaust and little pops when i started it up at school. I have no temp gauge and it was right when I started it up, 2 seconds later vbrmmmmm vbrrmmmmm. 7000Rpm pedal to the medal revving. The car has been smooth as silk and perfect with oil changes every year 9000-12,000 miles. Its been 4 years and my engine feels strong and gets driven hard everyday. But did i mess anything up in the engine from doing those cold morning revs when starting it up? Thanks if anyone can answer and it's embarrassing to tell u guys this LOL. I wanted to show those Lexus is, gs, and infiniti kids wssup with the 3L inline 6. LOL

True, the 328i isn't fast. I test drove an IS250 and an IS350 (the first gens) a few years ago and while the 350 was faster it sucked. Throttle response and transmission programming was just terrible. The IS250 I actually thought was a 4 cylinder. I'm not a big guy, but my head was practically touching the B pillar, not sure how anyone 6 feet+ would even fit in those. G37 is much quicker and better sounding than all of the above, but I hated the twitchy-ness of the steering on center of the few I drove at highway speeds and the seating position was a bit odd. The 7-speed auto in those also seems to never know what gear it wants to be in. We all know Rudi is here because the Lexus forum is full of non-car guys though. |

Side note: There is a Russian on Club Lexus that bought 2 totaled Lexus's. One was an RC350, the other was an IS350. He straight up, combined the two cars into one. He got tired of waiting on Lexus to release an IS-F, so he made his own. Crazy amount of work, but he pulled it off. |

Currently driving the 2nd IS. The 2nd gen seemed to be considerably faster than the 3rd. I have no hard evidence and haven't bothered to look it up, but based off ownership experience; the 3rd gen is only as fast as the 2nd gen if sport + is activated. Driving in normal mode is like driving an IS 250 and driving in eco is like driving an Accord. |
