FWIW, Vettes since '89 actually get decent gas mileage. I regularly got 26mpg on the highway out of my 500hp 412ci'd '91. I know C5s/C6s get 28+ highway. So, he's definitely not doing that for the mileage.

I really don't think this dude was serious. He was just trolling some little kid. I didn't even know what he was asking in that first sentence so the kid obviously needs some grammar help.

By the way, it's "whose" not "who's" ............

I agree about the sticklers who will try and use a typo to prove someone's entire point wrong (which is a logical disconnect anyway...) but there is something to be said for the ability to compose coherent text without egregious grammatical errors, and the negative impression poorly constructed sentences leave on those it's addressed to.
