Are these pieces the dry carbon look? Thanks.

Any plans for an exhaust valve controller (if you haven’t installed one already)?

already got one, makes no difference in sports mode, the only time it effects the exhaust is on cold start when it doubles the noise

Exhaust note is changing daily now so fingers crossed, getting the M1/2 buttoins fitted as we speak, I'm not messing around with re-pinning power wires.

Exhaust note is changing quite a lot over the last few days. I can definitely hear more engine sound in the cabin once I’ve got a few miles under the belt I'll post a video.

I can really hear the exhaust in the cabin now (in a good way) and the sound/note is better so far but it needs to get better still.

Can you link to your exhaust supplier? You said £2,200 was that with fitting?

no but fitting wasnt a lot as its a like for like swap, i ordered the brackets but in the end didnt need them as they welded them straight on, i got it from SSDD Motorsport (it's not listed on their site) it was £1800 plus £400 shipping

Thanks
Opinion on it it was worth it?

I’m debating between this and the PWC back box mod which is much cheaper and just increases the volume a bit

Ah yeah it’s a guy here in the UK who modifies the back box (method unknown) ad it increases volume a tad without changing sound profile too much. Seems like a good budget alternative to the M Perf back box.

Which has been your favorite exhaust so far? I believe you also had Dinan at one point? Any others? I'm still debating which exhaust system to get. Right now it's between Dinan, Milltek, and MPE.

no mate only had the original and this one, i'm a little underwhelmed atm, it is better but not much, but I'm hoping it comes good with time. If that fails I'll try the OPF delete.

I have a factory unit attached to my print shop that is unused and a bit dirty so I have finally finished converting part of it in to a garage for my E46

Update: The exhaust is sounding better to the point I don't think I want to ruin it by removing the OPF, I think it would be too loud, and whilst it probably is a little short on sound atm I think I may go too far if I remove them.

The M1/2 buttons are brilliant (not just the looks btw) I use them 4 times a day, they are responsive with no lag and they never fail to work, both things I was worried may happen with it being a BT connection. It's so much better (and safer) not having to look down to find the correct button.
