Hey Guys! I was wondering if any CA local to NoVA or Neighboring region is looking to enlist client for M2 allocation @ MSRP Or best way is still to call around to get on the list?

Just sharing a data point while we all eagerly wait for the M2 to make its US debut:
User dominoM kindly gave me a heads up that Schomp BMW's website (just outside of Denver) was showing a BG M2 as part of their current inventory. I called them to confirm the car was on site before heading over to see it and was told that actually, it's still in processing and will be a "couple of weeks" before it hits the floor - whatever that means. Things are happening, but they're happening slowly. |

Curious how dealers are basing this supply estimate off of? Has BMW given any info like this out or is it just them spitballing based on previous m2 / m3 / m4 supply?

It's because of their M car volume. If they're rated lower they'll get less allocations (because they're less likely to move them).

Yeah, I know smaller stores get less. I'm just curious how they are estimating it. Whether they actually have any hard numbers they are working off of or just extrapolating from previous m cars.

FYI....CA at Dealership in central Florida texted offering me their HEA vehicle. ZB stick with carbon roof. It's lacking a few of the options I ordered, so I am passing. I am 2nd line at this dealership, so hopefully it's not too much longer to receive exact order.

I'm seeing more allocations now. 17 in the Western Region all in 112.
42 in total in the US

I just noticed that some of these are built with the 50 year badges. I thought that was no longer available after December 22. I guess some people will be happy about this. Personally I don't like the look. I'm sticking with traditional badges.

I was very happy to have a purchase with them, if nothing but to say a limited amount of M2's will be built in the 50th year. Maybe that means something for collector value, maybe not.

I like the way the colors all tie into the M colors and all the colors are in the interior |

It also helps that they look really good against ZB. Not so eloquent against the TR IMO. I think OK against BG as well. |

I initially had them on my build and later removed them. I like the traditional Roundel better myself. Plus the anniversary year is over. Edit, Oh and once someone mentioned that the heritage emblems look like a clown’s face I cannot get the image out of my head. Anyone that wants the 50th emblems can purchase them via your BMW parts department. They are are readily available and will be for sometime. I am certain your center will be more than willing to install them prior to delivery. If not, it is a very simple DIY. Last edited by T_U_D; 02-13-2023 at 07:47 PM.. |

My order just hit status 112 (per my SA) - in Houston, TX.
Marked week 13, but she thinks it may speed up as it’s marked sold.. |

I dont have confidence in a dealer knowing this for certain at this point.
