I notice that Rosberg is coming on publicly quite a lot thinking that his 2016 spat with LEW is something that is relevant to what could be happening now. Compared to the gloves off Senna/Prost battle of '89 it was akin to kids playing patty cake.

My take on it (possible scenario): Hamilton realizes that hope has flown away for WDC 8 and pitched the idea to set her free (release her from her contract), which allows her to spend more quality time again with her husband and two children (she's close to 50 years). F1 = a lot of time spent away from home. She gave it a thought, likely discussed the idea with her loved ones and agreed in the end.

I trust that Hamilton ensured that she is financially properly compensated for everything she has sacrificed over the past 7 years.

Probably not too soon to start comparing the dominance of the RedBull RB19 in this GP year to the McLaren MP4/4 in the 1988 GP season...that car won 15 of the year's 16 grand prix races.
Easy to believe it could go undefeated.

Checo's dad" Antonio Pérez Garibay" (Member of the Chamber of Mexican Deputies) is negotiating in the Mexican government to get a second Mexican GP at the F1 race calendar .
