How would the heat gun be used? Warm up the part others are suggesting be cut out and push it back?

Heat up the fins and push them inward? Melt them off?

Dropped it off for Xpel Ultimare Plus PPF, Prime XR+ tint (70% windshield, 35% windows), IND reflector deletes, heritage badges and black M2 badge. She's gone for the next week!

Very nice. Sounds gorgeous. I'm also ordering a manual with blue calipers, moonroof and shadow line. We'll be able to tell our cars apart by the wheels, though.

I live in Denver, but I'll keep my eyes peeled for you when we come out to STL later this year to visit my wife's mom. Enjoy the car!

Love it - and such a small world, I used to live near Wash Park and by the university when I was in school at DU. Love that town and I’m sure driving the G87 through the high country twisties will be a blast. Have fun!

Bi-color all day. Adds lots of contrast & details to an already nicely designed factory wheel. A solid chunk of black metal just doesn't do it for me & add any class. Just my .02 cents.

Ok. Seriously,...ditch the cast boat anchors and go off the board for a set of forged rims and pick the exact color and style you want..

I think I suggested bicolor on one side and black on the other a while back, still my 2nd favorite option.

Tested out different Wheel cleaning methods and products while washing the cars and bikes. Settled on a Tire & Trim Applicator and xPel Detail Spray for best results without spending all day.

Exactly, warm the fins and then push them forward slightly. I cut mine out on my G80, but only because I didn't think of the heat gun at the time.
