I have stopped updating this, but it might be useful to some to give an idea of the time taken for various steps in the process.

For those in Brunswick from Glovis Sun. I was just updated by Dealer saying the car was released and is scheduled for pickup from port on Saturday May 18th. Many of you should see yours moving in the same time frame!

The choice of words was interesting, but exciting nonetheless!

Did your status changed from "AT THE PORT" to something else?

5/17 - We are at the PORT VPC

I am hoping the HAS installation does not take too long.. my dealer said its expected within two weeks. Excited is an understatement.

I am getting excited on the east coast. heh heh

Glovis Sun is about to dock at the port of NY - my car is on it. HAS installed and then should be in my grubby little hands in 2 weeks.

What's HAS? And is it true we can't pick what tires we get?

Congrats man! My car is still sitting in Brunswick with 193 code "at the port".

Sure! I'm sorry it was raining from the moment I picked the car up haha. Here's a quick pic I took when we got to the restaurant. I'll definitely post some more tomorrow!

Couple of notes though: I ordered Red Brake calipers and got Blue... (spec sheet even shows red on order sheet), and I lost the tire lottery and received Pirelli's unfortunately.

1 month of updates:

4/18/2024: Status 153

4/19/2024: Status 165 Ready for transport.

 4/26/2024: Left Planta San Luis Potosí Mexico

4/27/2024: Ship left Mexico Port of Ensenada Mexico   

5/2/2024: Arrived at Port of Hueneme California   

5/3/2024: Waiting for work order assignment

 5/10/2024: Work Order complete. HAS installed   

5/12/2024: Status 195. Vehicle released to carrier. Waiting shipping

I've realized that the status check on the tracking site or using the BMW app is consistently delayed in the later stages of the build. So I call 3 times a week now.

Im guessing that the car is getting to the Detailership by Tuesday, and I drive it to get PPF right after.
