Just checked this morning, officially scheduled for production. I’ll do the f12 trick when I can later but I am certain my build week is 25 from the phone call I had with BMW Genius.

I am also build week 25, and mine went to scheduled for production a couple of days ago. Looks like you and me will be getting our cars around the same time. It will be interesting to track together.

I see you have 5AP - Decoding for no-dazzle high-beam assistance. My build also has that, but I see a lot of people on the forums talking about coding their cars to get that feature. Is it something the 2023s didn't have, but the 2024s do? Or am I missing something here? Anyone know?

Adaptive high beam headlights have been legal in the US on new cars since 2/22. Not sure what the holdup is, although I believe the new Tesla Model 3 has them.

Don't worry, California is about to pass a bill requiring the stupid audible chime for 10mph speeding that all of our European brethren complain about. As they say, so goes California, so goes the union.

We too can enjoy an obnoxious chime every time you go 10 mph over the posted speed limit.

Mine has been released to carrier as of today. That doesn't mean it'll get on a truck to Alexandria though... and my CA estimated that it would be there by Thursday. I imagine yours will be in the same status after today if it isn't already there.

Hah! I'm swapping from an S3! I actually really like it, but it's certainly not an M and I really REALLY miss driving a manual transmission.

Just an update: initially, when I placed the deposit it was for frozen grey, carbon everything and buckets, shadow line lights fronts and back. Then just last week I decided I wanted black sapphire, since that’s what I originally wanted. Idk if the color change kicked it in the production sooner than the frozen grey but figured I’d give everyone on some updates!

4/22/24…cash deposited
4/26/24…order confirmed awaiting production date

5/28/24… got the VIN and in production queue
