April 3rd - Got prod number from the dealership and got Order Received status at BMW
April 13th - Scheduled for Production, called genius and got production week 19
April 25th - Production Begins
May 9th - Exterior body assembly > paint booth > entering assembly line > assembly in progress > Quality Check
May 10th - Final Assembly
May 11th - Ready for Transport

Thanks for the timeline, last week mine was scheduled for production, so it seems once they start, seems it takes a few weeks to build, waiting is hard, looks like July for me , yours looks nice

I hate to tell you this but the waiting gets worse the closer it gets. Mine is finally on the bot and it’s excruciating. 😜

On Saturday got another update from BMW MyGarage website:
So the timeline looks like this as for now:

Apr 7th - order received
Apr 21st - scheduled for production (week 20, May 15th - 19th) (112)
May 2nd - production begins (150)
May 13th - Entering assembly line (153) (passed exterior body assembly begins -> in the paint booth)

It's movings, boys!

M Technology Pack
19"893 M Double-spoke Bicolour Alloy Wheels with Performance Tyres
Technology Plus Pack
Comfort Pack
M Adaptive Suspension
Harmon Kardon
Aluminium Rhombicle Interior Trim

Was an amended order they had for August so he's put expected delivery for September but could be earlier. Will know more later this week when it goes into the system.

Now the wait begins.

For the G42 everything between Assembly starting and Ready for Transport generally goes pretty quickly, within days.

Note that you are in the G42 forum not the G87 forum

Man these last few days waiting for the car to come from the boat are excruciating!! Anyone on the Grand Piooner get thier car yet? I am sure it’s just a a glitch but my car is now showing as back at the port after being on the ship for 10 days! 🤦‍♂️

Not long, the wait will be once the car is done and getting a boat assigned. I waited over a month after my car was built to get a boat. It is all timing obviously not everyone waits that long.

Same status here. Customs, inspection (VDC),and transport carrier should be happening for us Grand Pioneer folks. It's still going to take more time for those things to occur. Hang in there.

West Coast Update - Green Ridge is current at the Port of Long Beach offloading. Next stop should be Port Hueneme on May 18, although it appears the schedule is a little behind so that may slip to May 19.

Yeah HK is nonnegotiable unless you are planing to go the aftermarket route. Even HK is not that great so I can't imagine how inadequate base is.

Even if you’re going aftermarket, you want HK because you get more speakers that you can replace. If you go base it’s less speakers.
