So some insights for others in or about to be in the same boat....

The drive away BMW insurance doesn't apply to this car given it doesn't have a tracker and I spent almost an hour going through the car spec with my insurance company as they didn't have the G87 on their system yet.

Just had an update from BMW Uk ( not dealer ) on my car - if you are 195 now then you are looking at a sea delay. Boat arrives 2 August. I had been expecting my car on 15 July (after repeated pushing back to my delivery date estimate).

Your going to love it, it feels a good jump up from the m2c i had, even keeping it to the running in procedure it feels seriously quick, m2 mode overrun sounds great, id8 I'm not loving it, overcomplicated.

ive put 10mm spacers fr/rr Mines booked in for ppf and ceramic on the 17th and ive got some pp carbon to fit once i get it back.

I’m coming from an M2 OG LCI. felt a little low rent inside so I’m liking the interior

Insurance has gone through the roof as well due to being an high theft area - south east London / Kent ( their words not mine)

Saw another one in the dealership which was being prepared (manual, TR and Michelin PS4)

Mine predictably had the Cup2's as it had the track pack but the PS4S's are sat at the dealer waiting to be fitted on Monday ready for collection Monday PM.
