She got her first and only quick drive from the dealership to the ppf / ceramic/ tint shop. She purrs but damn is she quiet compared to last car. Need to get mid on there asap at the very least to wake her up. But I will say she feels much more refined, even in the harshest mode and with the HAS still the ride is smoother than my last few lowered vehicles. And being able to see her hips in the side mirrors while driving is just an added bonus lol.

I’m pretty sure the Genius line and everyone is confused if it’s showing in their system the same it is in this screenshot from my dealer. It’s showing a completely different status that they haven’t seen before, and it would usually say the ship name and ETA. All status 195 cars that correspond with the Virgo Leader departure date show “Lazaro Virtual Port Departure” without a ship name. Whoever logs the movement of these cars must be messing with us.

Still waiting, my CA seems to think I was on the boat. They had something going on with the system updates which is why nothing shows accurate on the genius end, but should be accurate in my BMW garage.

I got a confirmation today from my CA that it’s on the ground. He said I could see it in Phoenix on Thursday or Friday possibly. We’ll see about that.

I called BMW Genius and their systems were finally updated. They said that my car is at the Oxnard VPC. That there was some work order on it that was completed the same day (today) and that the car has been released for shipment to the dealer, which is currently scheduled for Friday.

Anyone have any idea on what this work order could be? If it was resolved the same day, presumably within a few hours if it was today as they said, could it be some recall or might be some shipping damage?

Just talked to genius and they said I made it on the Virgo, it’s at the port waiting to go to the VPC. Wahoo!
The genius did say they had a lot of system glitches so chances are if your production date was mid sept your car is in California waiting to go to Oxnard for processing.
Good idea to call the genius again for updates.
