From info here in these forums I learned that it was possible to track ship, etc. Why did I have to ask my "rep" at the dealer? He gave me the ship's name...Hercules Leader...LOL....and the web site.

Yes, it's due in Port Hueneme at 0530 on 6/21. Luckily it got away from the Mexico port and out up the West Coast before the tropical storm hit...that is going on now in Texas and moving in to Mexico.

We got lucky...otherwise might have been a long delay. ??

Happening all so fast, surprisingly. Build date was 5/28. Arrive Oxnard 6/21 and Colorado by end of month.

I see some things on '25 model that are nice, but, I'm not sorry for not waiting and ordering my '24 M2. I would like to have those silver wheels. Working on that!! LOL! I also like the new steering wheel. Looks almost identical to the new wheel on the just released all new X3 M50!

Im like you, I am not a fan of black whees, I got the BiColor wheels and I was just going to have them redone in silver. What will be a bummer are the wheels now forged like the G80/82 cars? I am lucky as my dealer is in S. Cali so I should have the car within 5 days of the VPC unless there is an issue at VPC, which happened to me once on a 2004 E46 M3 I ordered.

well liked Nickel Luster forged wheels. It has just barely over 600 miles!! It's a 10 speed. My 12th Mustang I've owned. Probably my last.
Didn't like the '25 overall. Tried a C8 Vette to order....uh...nope, then a Cad. Blackwing....no allocations. and now my M2 is on the ship.
Finally found something that should be great fun. Not that the Mustang and also my current TLX Type S aren't....just something new and
different. LOL!!

Wow. Yes, this is occurring a lot faster than I thought. Order date was 5/20. Build 6/6. Been zipping through the build steps and am now "Waiting for Transport." Meanwhile, have been ordering presents for it. I'm getting the Zunsport grill guards for the radiator and oil cooler (from Amazon) and shopping around for Advanced Car Eye 3.0. I appreciate all the help from the guys on this board.

Yeah, my 5 piece Zunsport set is in my garage, and then the eng. oil cooler screen is ready to Fed Ex out of England.

My CF rear trunk spoiler and mirror cap replacements are on hold until the mirror caps come in. New ceramic brake pads are on the way to dealer. I ordered and had them shipped to them. They've ordered my floor mats, 2 sets, and the CF M Motorsport door sill plates. Should be in by Friday.

I'm left with....at this point...LOL!..ordering the tires I want from Tire Rack, and shipped to them. Next day thing. And, I'm going to order
the special spare tire kit from Modern Spare.com. Used them before. Great product. I know...what many will say. Where are you going to put it? No snide jokes please..LOL! It will be in a special bag and I will tether it on the floor of the trunk. I don't really use my trunks....in the Mustang or TLX, and I'd rather have the dependable spare kit assy. than the stupid pump and goop machine!!

I have an MDX Type S, that has the 3rd row seat stowed, so I have a ton of space in the back to haul most anything with that vehicle.

I'm wondering IF I really need the knee pad that attaches to the console. I'm 6'1" and my leg may need some comfy support...?
It is an auto trans. But, still I don't know about leg room.

I think my "present" buying is about wrapped up. Oh, still working on doing Xpel PPF, but, trying to find an experienced installer at a fair price. Costly. I have one maybe lined up that does this at home when not doing for a dealership...many yrs installing. Had a PPF guy, but, that ship has sailed!!

The info and support here has been very helpful for this first time BMW buyer. Tons of other vehicles owned though.

I saw somewhere else that someone thinks that a boat leaves about once a month. Since one just left we probably have a month wait until another one leaves. Assuming we get on that boat I'd guess our cars will be stateside by the end of July.

Any idea which shipper(s) BMW is using for the cars heading to the west coast? If we know that, we can find anticipated dates for their ROROs hitting the port on the west coast of Mexico.

The OG tracking thread says Wallenius and Wilhelmsen, with Kline and NYK are the most common shippers BMW uses, but that thread is from 2015 and pertains to cars made in Germany. Not sure how much of that info still applies, and the fact that our cars are made in Mexico might mean completely different shipping companies. Earlier in this thread @Dave07997S has confirmed his car is on the Hercules Leader which looks to be an NYK ship so we at least know that shipping company is still used for BMW out of Mexico.

Yes, Hercules Leader is powering up the West Coast to Oxnard as we speak with my M2 and others. Japanese owned car carrier. Due at Port Hueneme at 0530, 6/21.
