Wow, thanks for chasing this down. If there's a backlog of vehicles at the port then we could be easily waiting until 8/12. Genius (or whatever they're called) made it sound like it was pretty much luck of the draw at the port which lines up exactly with my experience with Porsche and the Emden port.

I doubt we will have to wait until 8/12, that would be two months waiting for a ship, which from anecdotal evidence here seems like longer than most have had to wait. If I were a betting man, I'd say we will most likely be on the 7/21 boat, but I'm holding out hope we get lucky and get out on the earlier one. Fingers crossed.

Saw my dealer today.

They got an allocation this morning.
There is one person in line ahead of me and they were willing to give me the allocation because that person has pushed off buying when they had an allocation before.

If it was a MY25, I would have said give me the allocation. Since this is the first allocation, I told them to call the person and if they don't want it I'll take it.

Also my dealer saw all the port installed options, including HAS.

"Stuff" has to be added, done to the car at the dealer. Last is a buff waxing from their detail dept. They have a great buffer, so I'm told.

So, we got lucky with our ship being available when it was to leave factory and the port. Car was built May 28th and should arrive at dealer on June 30th. I couldn't have expected any faster of this process.

On the '25 model. I sure like the newly added all silver 930M wheels.
And, the new steering wheel. Hmmm....what to do? LOL!!

I heard my car should be at the dealer late today or tommorrow. I agree I like the 930M Silver wheels and the new steering wheel. I got the Bi-color wheels and a later date I am going to have them painted or powder coated. I love the new steering wheel. I will get it.

Surprise...mine is too! My truck driver must have broke the Teamsters
hrs driving per day rule...LOL! We both were on the same ship, you're in So. Cal, I'm East of the Rockies and our cars arrived the same time.

Hope you enjoy yours like it seems most all G87 owners are. I've always said that there is no perfect car...but, overall I think the M2 is going to a fun one to own. And I've had many cars. Overall I'm glad I didn't wait to order a '25...because I got the Cognac interior and they dropped it on the '25's. But, as you and I agree.....the new wheel color and steering wheel are very cool.

Keep us informed on how you are doing with it, mods, like it a little or A LOT! LOL! I'll have comments about mine over time. It will be at dealer all week for installs, etc. Picking up next Sat.

That would checks out since my dealer said August for delivery. Also, I am awaiting for transport from the factory. I think I am on week 3 of waiting. Trying not to keep track haha

Turns out my car didn't get delivered to the dealer. Maybe today...WTF. Cars from the same ship made it to dealers out of the state or even farther away. ERRRR!!!!

Are you sure Ready for Transport means it's still at the factory? It seems like it's a catch-all for done building, but waiting on a boat. Did you confirm it's not actually at the port of exit? If that's the case for you guys, I guess it could be for mine. I assumed Ready for Transport meant it's at the port, not the factory since it sits in the Final Assembly for so many days, I figured that's when it's in transit to the port.

I'm just coordinating some "things" that are related to what it needs in the meantime. Time goes quickly when you are not engrossed with the issue every min. of every day. Soon, you will be all smiles!!

I've been ordering tires from Tire Rack for many yrs. In recent yrs they've been using On Trac for deliveries. Well, they suck! Screwed up once before on a delivery, and now they delivered 3 tires to my dealer....and Tire Racks warehouse 20 min. away from dealer had all 4...they sent the 4th one to Reno, NV!!! REALLY On Trac! I was really upset. You can't talk to a live person at On Trac. Tire Rack can, so I did that, but, you still don't end up with any answer that makes sense from On Trac. Gave me 2 dates for delivery that didn't happen, and now say tomorrow for that 4th tire.

IF it would have been more of a "I need it now" kind of thing I would be even more in the face of Tire Rack to make it happen. Car is not sitting and waiting.....but, I do have all week. But, still...again, if you Google On Trac's service and reviews....well it matches my experiences with them. I told Tire Rack that they are hurting you!

I am suppose to be going on vacation this Wednesday. Thats the reason why I am kind of freaking out. The car was supposed to be here on 5 August, so I arranged my vacation around that.

I don't use TireRack anymore. I used local tires dealers that honor or better TireRack prices. I have been using DiscountTiresDirect now (Americas Tire here in Cali) and they even give me 5% off for Veterans.

Does anyone have a car coming into the Galveston, tx port soon? I’ve been trying to figure out if they use the Veracruz port to ship to Galveston as that port has direct ships to Galveston. If they use Veracruz they had a ship leave yesterday for Galveston. Does anyone have a car on the undine ship? If so, do you have the bol number?

I think you're correct, mine still says Ready For Transport, and has said that since the 20th of June. The dealer said it left the factory on the 21st for the port.

Im hoping its floating its way to Baltimore and the status just hasn't been updating.

The Morning Menad is moored at Baltimore then off to NY and my status is still Ready For Transport. I know there can be a delay in updating but I don't think I made that boat. Next one going to NY that I can find is Morning Menad leaving Altamira July 9th.
