You'll love the Benelli.

Our M1 Super 90s are probably 20 years old and still running strong! And we beat on them relentlessly. Benelli knows how to make shotguns!

do you refer to the trigger slip?
i believe it had something to do with the way the trigger spring is mounted on the 'notch' that causes it to slip and the permanent fix is to put in a metal plate (i don't know the exact term for it, i just call it a shim)
haven't had it happen personally.

I wanted a cheap, basic AR with Magpul furniture. The PSA rifles that came with Magpul furniture installed were more expensive than buying a standard/base rifle and adding a Magpul kit to it, so I bought a kit separately. This kit has a subtle zombie theme to it, which I think looks cooler than the OD green Magpul furniture I initially wanted. When prices come back down, I plan to buy a PSA AR pistol with Magpul OD green furniture to convert to an SBR.

Currently the rifle has a red dot on it, but I think I’ll eventually install a 1-6x LPVO. Add a light, and my BuIlD will be complete.

AK’s are pretty easy to bump fire if you want to or are inexperienced so i’d wonder if that was what was happening with the report you saw.

Anyone else have to put potential projects on hold given the shortage of parts available these days? Leave it to me to start getting motivated in custom builds again during a pandemic/election year...

I know your pain. I sold off a bunch of guns this year because the timing was right and I didn't want them anyway. Now I have a bunch of cash but there are no guns in stock anywhere. Oh, well, prices are too high anyway.

Yup local shop has a couple pallets of each. Prices are pretty high though around $28/box of 50. $14/box of 20

Yeah, not buying ammo at these prices. 300BO ammo was plenty expensive @ ~$0.48/round pre-pandemic...I'm never paying more than that for any reason whatsoever lol

I have an FFL. I was asking more out of curiosity if there were locations not affected by the shortage. I ordered a bunch of guns and ammo from my suppliers but they're backlogged a few months so I won't be receiving anything until spring of next year.

Haven't had to put any gun projects on hold, but I'm having a hard time getting a couple of the .308 dia bullets I use, and the supply of Federal 215M large rifle magnum primers has been hit-and-miss, if you'll pardon the pun.

The price of freedom seeds are pretty ridiculous, but I don't see them coming back down anytime soon.

My inventory is pretty stocked up as of now. I've not been going to the range as frequently. We'll see how things go.

I'm thankful that I have solid loads developed for all the guns I handload for, so that I don't have to burn up a bunch of now-hard-to-find components on load development. I'm a little concerned, though, that one of my hot-rod rifles' barrels is nearing end-of-life, and that fitting a replacement barrel, no matter how almost-the-same it is, will mean going back to the proverbial drawing board to some degree. Luckily, it's not an essential piece.

I'm pretty well stocked in extra parts for the guns I count on; several spare Remington 700 actions and stocks and miscellaneous parts; spare Nightforce scope parts, spare barrel and slide parts and recoil springs and firing pins for pistols. A couple bins of 10-22 parts.

Had the itch to get back into the magnum rifle game. My local shop had a 25th anniversary Christensen Arms Traverse in stock in 300 win mag. I put a Swarovski Z6 on it. Very happy with it so far. Muzzle break is amazing. Recoil is less than my 7mm-08 or .270.

Even AmmoSeek is usually high. I work across the street from a sports place so I get a few hundred a week or so just to keep ahead of my target shooting right now. Having harder time finding hunting rounds. When I buy 9mm it's under 30 cents a round.
