Ordered in mid August. Genius tells me I'm week 7 2025 which is the week of February 9th 2025. I'm not expecting to get the car before April (based on BMW's 10-12 week build timeline). So for me it would be about a 7 month wait.

Although there’s a fairly vocal contingent of people on here that are all about Twlight — I’m not sure how many of the general public are going to pick a purple car to live with every day.

Java is by far the most interesting of the individual colors, and given how popular grays are, a unique pearl shade like Grigio is going to be the most ordered of the individuals. I like Voodoo a lot, but there are 3 other lower blue cost options and one that doesn’t cost a single extra cent. ZB was the launch color and a lot more unique than Voodoo

I disagree with the uniqueness of ZB. I was going to go with ZB but in my opinion it only looks good in direct sunlight. I live in the northeast where we have a lot of gloomy weather, and I noticed Voodoo pops out way more in all lighting conditions. I went to a cars and coffee event on an overcast day and there was a ZB M2 that looked like a blueish gray, while a voodoo M4 still looked like a strong blue. Portimao was also a good option, but I had a dark blue car before, and I wanted to change it up.

There are also three other greys to choose from, which is why I’m surprised to see so many people stepping up for the cost of Grigio, especially anyone who wasn’t already planning on getting the CF roof.

I had a Hockenheim silver f87 and now it seems like the primer gray/silvers are everywhere. I almost did a frozen gray g87 but I was getting the CF roof anyways so I went with the purple for something different

Absolutely, but Gray is a lot more popular than blue, and the Grigio is the most unique of the 4 options. I would say an electric blue is less special than a gulf blue.

Obviously the sample size is tiny and we’re all just having a bit of fun with our opinions

I respect and understand your opinion. Pastel car colors are just what’s trending these days. If you want a blue that pops, it’s not for you.

Apologize if this has been already answered - Are you able to order any individual paint colors on the M2? (not the ones available in the config). I know for the G80 it's a $4,500 option. Just wondering if we can do this on the M2 also.

Unfortunately not possible…just the 4 colors on the config.

Not sure. Could also be because they may want to limit the options for the M2 to encourage prospective buyers to get into the M4 instead. More expensive car with more options.

Has anyone that ordered gone with a BSM and silver wheels combo? Currently considering if I want to swap out the anchors for some silver 826s but would love to see some pics first.

If you don't enjoy attention or getting compliments, then fair warning, don't buy one.

But if you do, I highly recommend it.

The only deal with Twilight is having not seen it I am not sure if I would like it as much as Thundernight metallic. Twilight appears to be several pigments lighter than TN, which is 'Deep Purple' and catches your eye like 'Smoke on the Water'.....fire in the sky. Sort of makes you feel like a 'Highway Star'.

Twilight might give off that same effect, but I'd need to see it in the flesh to see if it has some of that same mojo.

I'm a couple of years away from having to make a decision, but at this point I have an attraction to JG.

But I'm really hoping that Individual gets opened up and is expanded to other colors in the near future, as a Le Mans blue G87 would send me over the moon, as I am at heart a blue kind of guy.

My dealer is still waiting for me to decide on Java Green or Twilight Purple, heaven help me. No more black/grey/silver/white cars as I've been there.

Wonder if the bright skies of Colorado would lend to Twilight Purple better and the Java Green being too much...

If you can pull it off, I’d say Java Green without hesitation. At 40, I feel little too old to seriously consider it, but it’s by far my favorite color on this car.

I'm newly 40 and I say go for it! Life is short and you are allowed to enjoy colors that you like!

Of course personal opinion and no offense but there's nothing enjoyable in Java Green, it looks cheap, just like the nasty yellow they sell alongside. Some nice yellow, red, silver and green colors would bring back the buyers flocking to the dealerships.

Where is Imola Red, Speed/Yucatan yellow, British Racing/Irish green? Good M colors and universally loved.

They don't even have a proper silver for their M cars. No wonder the design team has been uprooted. Utter nonsense!

I think it looks pretty cool, but again that's what opinions are for
