I bet noone is complaining about their vehicle being stuck at the port now.

Grand Choice is finally heading towards the Veracruz port. Expected on 8/5 (probably more realistically 8/6 or 8/7). After being in Final Assembly for almost 2 months and then another couple of weeks in Ready for Transport, I'm really hoping I'll be on that one. Fingers crossed!

Crazy delivery times. For the U.S. it should be 30 days till delivery.

My concern is the backlog of cars waiting will mean I don’t make it on this trip. This ship will likely determine if get this car or get a refund on my deposit.

From everything I've been reading, if it's in Ready for Transport, it's set for the next ship. Heard they have to pay for them to sit at the port so they don't get delivered until they have it scheduled to move and most of the people that were in RFT prior to the last ship seemed to have received their cars. Again, just hearsay and assumptions from forum stalking but that seems likely

I’ve been stuck in the same steps as you, hopefully we both make it. I early traded my 22 Thundernight because my dealer told me my new car would be here in 6 weeks…LIES!!!

Mine has been at 150 since 7/26 (Last Wed). Hoping it will go to "body" step within the next few days.......

Estimated completion date is still showing 8/22 (unchanged since BMW assigned the VIN).

It probably won't enter the body shop until 8/21. It only takes 2-3 days to build

Mine has been at 150 since July 20th. It’s a week 32 production, i.e. is supposed to finish production by week of August 7 (I expect by August 11 - Friday). Dealership expects arrival by end of September. However, considering how slow things are going with shipping I would expect late October earliest.

Same issue here. Check engine light came on after 2 miles. Thankfully the dealer had two knock sensors in stock. Hoping they get it done Monday.

Where do you find the estimated completion date? Thanks

The F12 key trick in your browser when you have the BMW My Garage page open.

There is at least one thread here on how to use the F12 trick (it requires a bit of computer savvy).

Go to post 4553 in this thread. There are details on how to do the F12 trick. Like I said, it takes a bit of computer savvy because you are basically looking at computer code but you can play around with it until you figure it out - you won't hurt anything if you hit the wrong key.

One thing that worked for me was to hit the refresh key after I hit F12. And make you are on the main My Garage page not the one with the progress bar - the one that shows your car(s).

Thanks to KRIS10_H for posting this:

Here is the step-by-step. I am using the latest version of Chrome but it should work in IE too. You can always download Chrome and use it for just this purpose - it is not a large program and you do not have to make it your default browser.

Once you have logged into MyBMW and have the My Garage page open, and you have hit F12 on your keyboard:

First, this writeup is extremely helpful. Thanks. I’ve been using the “F12” trick for a while but it was a lot of trial and error on my part figuring it out the first time because most people provided unclear instructions. Secondly, black is usually pretty low on my list of preferred colors and I honestly never even considered it for mine (ordered purple) but the black with the ZTK wheels is super sexy. Im a little disappointed I didn’t consider it lol

You are welcome. I have done some coding in my day so it was no issue for me and easy to do a few screen shots.

I had been looking for an M440i and I had never considered the 2 series based on my impression of the 2 series from years ago. But I happened to test drive a '22 that had the ZTK option in black sapphire metallic and I liked it right away. It is a much better car now than it was a few years ago and it looks great in black. It will pretty much be a toy for me since I am retired and will only be using it for spirited driving days up in the mountains. I may take it on a few longer trips. Don't need a back seat or big trunk. My daily driver is a Ridgeline so I doubt I will put more than 5K a year on the M240i - which is a good thing because those tires are expensive and will likely not last 15K miles with my driving style.

Hopefully it will be a step up from my Genesis G70 in the twisties.....

Great - good to know. No changes hopefully means no delays.

One thing I did notice: I ordered the driver lumbar adjustment ($175) and noticed on my build that it has code 488 which is driver and passenger - that would be a nice change if true as I haven't seen any 2 series with passenger lumbar adjustment.
That would explain why the lumbar support option is $350 now rather than the $175 for the 2023s. I think very early on if you ordered the lumbar support for both, BMW cut the passenger side because of lack of parts and credited you $175 from the $350.
