Going to dealer to configure my MY25.

They expect to have my allocation in the next week or so. It will be allocation #2.

My dealer is an M dealer. They have had a string of XM and XM Red come through. Last week they had two M8 coupes.

My CA text me today. Car is scheduled to be at the dealer on the 20th. Drove down to the port today as it’s not far from my house. About an hour or so. I was able to see my car in the lot, or atleast what I think is my car. Spec’d out to what mine is. Hasn’t passed through the vpc yet. Still in the back lot. They were moving cars out from the front lot and not a whole lot of vehicles in the front lot either. So hopefully it gets to the dealer sooner than that. Would be nice to pick it up before next weekend. Need to put those break in miles on it!

Did he say it’s actually at the dealer now? Mine was released to carrier yesterday but it’s still not at the dealer, and my CA said there aren’t any techs working on Sundays to perform the PDI so I’m shit out of luck and waiting until Monday at the earliest. This is taking a lot longer than I expected to get from the port to my dealer.

Does anyone have recent experience of timing from Port Brunswick, GA to getting a delivery date at PCD in Spartanburg? My G87 was on the Glovis RCC Amsterdam and arrived at Brunswick on 7/10. Status is still "at the port". My CA is still waiting for PCD to confirm a delivery date but I was hoping for July!

I saw BokTroy's timing was about 1 month from port to PCD on 5/2. It looks like Brent Palmer and M_Power Rob both took about a month in 2023 from the original delivery spreadsheet.

He said it would be possible if things line up. Unfortunately, things did not. I’m going to collect the vehicle tomorrow evening after work.

BMW Genius said it should arrive at the PCD location within 1-2 weeks of arriving at Brunswick, but they couldn't give me any info on when the actual delivery date for me to pickup the car would be. That's the part I'm unsure of... hoping I can take delivery at PCD before August 10th.

Called genius again, pretty sure they are sick of me. They were able to confirm my M2 will be leaving from Altamira not Veracruz and going to Bayonne, as I anticipated. They still don't have a ship name. Morning Menad left this weekend and is going direct to Bayonne. I am hoping I am on there and it hasn't updated yet.

I think it's pretty common for their system to lag. Several of us were on a boat but Genius said we weren't right up until they changed their tune and said surprise, you are in the states and were on a boat this whole time. You are probably on it.
