For those who are on wait lists, definitely call around. I got on my local dealer's list at #11 and after a few weeks of not moving up a single spot on their list I called 2 dealers further away and both had several build slots with no waiting list.

Last weekend, I placed my order with the better dealer of the two and the original one I was working with still hasn't received a single allocation. If you have a good CA they will also call around to other dealers to "borrow" one of their allocations.

Believe it or not there are dealerships located in certain markets that list their M2 allocations as priority 4, which is basically asking another dealer to take it.

Looks like mine got on a truck to Saint Louis last night! So 14 days for port installed items using the date the ship actually arrived, 10 days using the date the status flipped to at the port. Should have it down in Florida by next weekend 😁

Oof I was concerned about this too... might be bringing mine to the dealer when I pick up the car.

Oh, man...

Mine has black plastic things in front of the radiators facing forward (like the blue m2 posted right before on this page). They probably won't stop small rocks anyways. I am surprised yours came without any protection. I installed zunsport grilles anyways as an extra protection and for the looks. I am more worrying about the oil radiator though.

Bought a house and have been in full summer fishing/boating mode, so wasn't checking with genius more than once every couple of weeks.

Called genius a week and a half ago and all they could tell me was that I was "in transit" but no further info.

Thursday I got a call that the car was at the dealer. Picking her up at noon today.

Timeline:

April 15: Test drive, deposit paid.

April 24: Allocation received

May 1: Build scheduled for week 23 (June 2-8)

May 23: Production begins

June 6: Build complete.

June 20: Awaiting transport

July 20: In transit

July 25: At dealer
