Bangkok and Tokyo have always been on my bucket list. Sometimes I'll just drive around the cities on Google Street View. As a local, would Bangkok be a place you'd recommend visiting?

Hello XC3LLR8, greetings from Thailand! Bangkok offers a wide range of activities tailored to your preferences. If you're a food enthusiast, a visit to Bangkok will undoubtedly leave you satisfied. Personally, I enjoy exploring Chinatown and the vibrant Bantadthong area.

Picked up my M240i (non-ZTK) earlier this spring and wanted to get a head start a winter wheel setup. Did a test fit on the front and rear today. Turned out pretty well, downsizing to 18x8 +28mm square setup once the snow returns.
Bonus older picture after a wash with the current tires on from a few weeks ago before I found this site too! |

Installed the AutoID gloss black front lip and side winglets. Super easy install, I just reused the stock screws. Not the best pics from last night but you get the point.
Front lip quality is not the best, I would say 6.5/10 but at normal distance I really can’t see any imperfections. Think the front looks considerably more aggresive now in person. The side winglets are better quality since they are solid plastic, I would rate 8/10 (still have to drill the holes). Overall, it’s subtle but adds just a bit more to the sporty aesthetic. |

I have those two items as well sitting in the garage for a few weeks now waiting to be installed. Do they feel secure for long term use? I’ve heard of front lip spoilers flying at highway speeds (not particularly on this car). Any extra install tips like with the double-sided tape? Did you use the supplied screws in addition to the stock screws? |

TBH, I forgot they supplied screws with the kit (I too had mine sitting in the garage for a bit of time). I used the factory screws up front. I had to use a longer screw I had in my collection to secure the front-facing mount point on each side winglet. Only tip I have is to clean the area where the double-sided tape will come in contact with the vehicle. I used soapy water and finished with an isopropyl alcohol wipe down. My big concern is my car is wrapped in PPF and the PPF comes close to where the tape is applied. There may be some overlap so hopefully it doesn’t cause issue with the PPF. |

That’s why I didn’t want to go all out with the carbon fiber. But to be honest, it doesn’t stick out too far or to low. At least, not much lower than the stock rubber type lip. At least the lip will scrape before the actual painted part of the bumper

Does anyone know the part number for the 12v socket in the trunk? I found a cheap one off eBay for the F30. But can’t find a place to mount it where it won’t look half ass.
Thought it would be easier to deal with the oem socket. |

The only issue is that the plastic surface under the paint may not be perfectly smooth. Mine were not too bad, but up close at a certain angle you can see some of the imperfections. Unfortunately each plastic pour is different, some may be worse and some may be pretty smooth. Luck of the draw I guess with these |

For a final touch after installing the front splitter and the side winglets, I added the M-badge to make it automatically faster than a new M2 while adding roughly 1.39 WHP.

Installed the Quad exhaust tips from AliExpress, option Black B. Loving them so far, this option utilizes adjustable clamps which are easy to set in place.

Installed the power tap for radar today following the guide on the G20 forum, and it was easy as pie. Maybe took 5mins. Also installed the M start stop button, puddle lights and Tuxmats over the weekend!

Fitted the AliExpress exhaust tips in Silver A. Found them a bit cheaper on the store's M440i page and the measurements lined up pretty well!
