My arrival port is Baltimore. From Altamira (has lately been the port of choice due to congestion) there is a Aug 29 and Sep 19 carrier going to Baltimore.

That sucks, I agree. Makes me wonder when my 24 model will make it on a ship.

Same here. My car has been in final assembly since June, 21st.

Grand Choice and Glovis Cougar just left Altamira (One heading to Baltimore and one to Brunswick)... Hopefully some of our cars are on one of them. My car was built July 4th and has been sitting ever since. This wait is ridiculous.

Mine was scheduled for production week 21/5/23 and still hasn't arrived at the dealership. It had finished assembly at the end of May, before changing to status 165 on 13/7/23. It's getting a little ridiculous. Currently figuring out where to take it on a roadtrip in Europe. Hopefully not long to go now!

Wait!! 16 months?? WTF?? How is that even possible?

Similar timing to mine, I and a few UK folks hoping to be on the Drive Green Highway that's currently just off Veracruz. After Southampton (scheduled 16th sept) it goes to Bremerhaven and Zeebrugge 18th/20th Sept, presuming yours would go to one of those?

Fingers crossed for you (and everyone else)

Same as you.
Order in December 22, initial delivery date mid may 23 (lol).

Only produced 29th May...and still waiting. Status code 165 since 2 or 3 weeks...

I asked for compensation to the dealer...we'll see !!

“Order Date” is really not relevant unless it comes with an allocation, i.e. Status 112 “Order Received” is when the clock starts.

“Normal” timeline till delivery to the U.S. from there on should be around 10-12 weeks, for Europe probably an additional 4 weeks.

First the infamous “supply chain shortages” and now the shipping chaos out of Mexico are creating all these crazy wait times some experience right now. I am not sure why the transport does not follow “first in/first out”, i.e. first clearing out the parked cars before sending “new” cars on a ship. But maybe those cars waiting for several months and get “passed over” for carrier assignment indeed have a part missing - who knows.

I waited 9 month for my 2022 992 C2S Cabriolet. And I have a 2015 M235 DD that goes nowhere until the M240 arrived. However, there is no reason why people should wait 6+ months on this car. A 2024 allocation was readily available when I walked into the dealer - zero wait time. What’s creating the problem now is not demand but logistical chaos.

Good luck to those waiting (incl. myself).

Ordered 7/29 - allocation was week 34 and 112 status
Around 8/12 it flipped to 150 with 8/22 production date
On 8/14 production date moved up to 8/18 - week 33?
8/19 car is in Final Assembly and status 160
Evening of 8/22 it is Ready for Transport and status 165 - any coincidence this is the original production date?
Car is headed to Colorado - Any chance it shows up in 3-4 weeks? Assuming it has to get out to port, sail to Oxnard and then rail to Colorado?

Congrats! That’s pretty fast while many others are hanging out at 160 a looong time.

All depends when it hits a ship now. It’s a coincident that 165 happens on your original production date.

My car was week 32, production date ended up to be August 14 (33) and it has been sitting at 160 ever since.

Considering many folks are waiting on a ship for 4-8 weeks it’s all but a lottery from there on.
But you had a great start and maybe win the shipping lottery. Good luck!

While there doesn't seem to be any logic to why some get shipped fast and others seem to take forever, it makes me wonder if the particular dealer has anything to do with it, IE, location, bill payment history, or other logistical or business issues. In my own business, the customers that pay the quickest and are easy to work with get preferential treatment over the ones that drag payment out for months or are just an overall PITA to deal with.

Mine is “In Transit” as of this morning. Any idea how long before it gets to the dealer?

I’m located in Toronto, Ontario.

I am keeping my eyes open for a low miles '23 - if they start delaying mine like some of you are seeing, I will abandon the one on I have on order in a heart beat. It is hard to understand why some of these are taking so long to even be shipped out while some are shipped in just a few weeks.

There seems to be no logic why some cars sit for months and others get shipped out rather quickly.
Since I can’t influence this I’ll just have to wait and see. In FA since August 15.
