Found out from BMW Genius that the vessel name is the Aquarius Leader. Left 8/4 from Mexico and arrived today, 8/8, in Long Beach, CA.

Let’s see if it remains on that vessel or transfers to another before coming to Hawaii. Getting closer!

Yeah BMW Genius told me the ship left Mexico on 8/4 and expected to arrive 8/11, but arrived today ahead of schedule. I think your estimate is correct. Have you called BMW Genius?

I haven’t. Now I know what I’m doing in the morning Hopefully they can give me an accurate timeline of how long it takes to cross the country.

Yeah they’ll tell you the name of the vessel and the ETA. You can also go to vessel finder.com and get a more accurate location of where your boat is.

Woo-hoo! Mine went into production today. Not too bad, considering I placed the order/deposit four days ago! Now I have to sell my GR86! About how long from production to delivery (California) are these usually taking? 6 weeks?

EDIT: I just checked with my dealer about getting the port installed spoiler and it looks like it's not coming up as an option for him to add. He sees the rear diffuser but not the spoiler. Perhaps that means it's sold out?

My CA told me the same thing about the spoiler but it must be just for the port cause they told me I could just order it when the car arrives from them and have it installed that way.

Also, first time poster in the G87 forums, coming from an E92 N54 (keeping it til it dies). Got my S58 G87 order number a week ago but just changed the color to an Individual one so for sure i will get delayed.

I also got Grigio Telesto 6MT and it delayed my build by 9-10 weeks. I’d expect something similar. Just a heads up.

If you guessed BMW Chandler you'd be correct and maybe! Got lucky wasn't a huge waitlist. I asked about '25 M2 order availability Jul 15 and they said only one other person was waiting. On Jul 24 I had an order/production number. I did ask for a color change to Grigio T. on Monday and CA told me yesterday it was approved but unlike most other peoples 8-10 week delay they said it should only be delayed an extra two. Hopefully, that's true and grats on your order too🤞

I called on the 25th and they had an allocation so I went down did all the paperwork and got my production number on the 26th.

Genius said my estimated production date will be Dec. 1st but from what I’ve been reading you won’t know for sure until you get your VIN.

Fingers crossed it’s quicker than expected and we’re on the same boat.

Keep in mind this is for non-individual paint, no port-installed options, and a week 34 build date (end of production week)

Congrats brother. Enjoy the journey. I haven’t even gotten mine yet but I’ve appreciated this wait. It’d be great if you can just walk into the showroom and buy the car but the anticipation has me feeling like a kid waiting for Christmas to come.

Oof. Yeah that’s a long time. But I guess I mean the wait from allocation. Cause before I got my allocation I didn’t even know if I was going to get the car or how long it would take.

Called BMW Genius this morning just to see how accurate the Week 39 prediction was from my sales rep.

Turns out he lied! I can't believe it. I'm not actually scheduled for week 39!!

It's been scheduled for week 36.
