You trust people in NY to take care of the Supra on Toro? I've heard nightmares
I hear ya lol, I’ve never had much issue getting through the seasons but I agree it’s fine to comfort level.

And not a great deal of trust but I am curious how it’ll do. The second something turns me off I’ll delist it and explore other options at the time

You can’t drive on summer tires in winter, especially in a higher power RWD car, unless it’s dry and staying above 45 degrees consistently. Anyone who says they can, just hasn’t crashed yet.

I don’t know much about turo but I wouldn’t want any of my cars on it. I just picture people dumping clutches and over revving all day lol.

Ordered around mid August. Genius says my production is tentatively scheduled for week 7 2025.

Ordered Car 8/1, Been ready to transport (status 165) since 9/10. Was told by CA car will most likely go through Veracruz Port, Genius today said wasn't sure what port but most go through Veracruz. Said car is transported by train making various stops along the way. near the port, it goes into a distribution center and then trucked to the physical port and assigned to a vessel, she said that time frame can total 3-5 weeks. Kinda bummed me out a bit, thought I was further along. Oh Well !!!

Hey all! Ordered a skyscraper grey in 6 speed manual on 8/12/24. Got my allocation 8/20/24. Wondering when I could maybe receive my production number. Super excited as this will be my first true M car!

Congrats! If you have an actual allocation you should have the prod number already. No prod number = no allocation. Your salesperson can provide this number to you.

Ok they might just have not sent it to me yet. They called me Friday saying that I got the allocation. I'll look into it, thanks!

Got my production number and car has entered production. BMW genius is giving an estimated completion of OCT 6th. Looks like they optioned the wrong wheels though during them sending it over. Everything else was correct so hopefully they can get that changed before it (actually) goes into production.

WatTheRonin you have up until status 150 (production begins and a vin is assigned) to make changes. If your build doesn't have a VIN yet call your dealership asap and have them change it.

Sadly I have a VIN so we will see. Doubt they can change it but they are aware now and its not a deal breaker on my part since I don't mind any of the wheels personally, but could be a negotiating point or if they want to install the correct wheels there after.

I daily drove a 6 speed 700hp ZL1 1LE for two years with PS4S on it down here in GA. It is possible.

It snows like once a year there.
I think the point is that under 40 summer tires do not perform and you risk a lot doing so. Before the M2 was released I saw several posts of G80 owners crashing due to cold temps and summer tires.

I’m at scheduled for production with no VIN and was told today that it’s too late to change my wheel color from bicolor to silver…

Right, like I’ve been driving my Supra year round in New York for 4 years on factory PSS, we’ll be fine with these.

Indianapolis

It’s been “in transit” for a week or so now. It skipped like 3 stages in the tracker with no notification lol.
