Only because its rare and a bit more expensive to begin with. Around here theres a huge wait for this watch so for those retailers that actually have them are charging a premium. The GMTs are dime a dozen and kinda played out IMO (no offense to those that have this watch). I agree with Hyper...its a "first nice watch" watch.

Just ordered this watch but its the Chrono version. I've always loved the Invicta style. But still my watch in the future is Panerai Power Reserve... Amazing watch IMHO.
But for now Invicta and and Other Japan Mov. |

Tag Auqa Racer. Sapphire crystal. Navy blue face & bezel. Love this watch! It holds up like a tank.

I currently sport the Suunto Core. Daily wear watch good for work and out in the woods. It's big and ugly but it does the job. The baro on it has a weather alarm and allows me time to get some migraine meds on board before I get a pressure headache. So, functional and ugly. Just like me.
For formal crap where I'm supposed to wear a tie, I have an Omega Speedmaster my father gave me a few years ago. At a wedding last week I was asked, "so if this doesn't get you in a tie, what will." I replied, "my funeral", he laughed and said, "nice watch." There you go. It gets very little use. |
