this was already on my watchlist, but now you guys have me really intrigued. i was not expecting a comedic aspect to this show. probably won't get to it this weekend, but may dive in starting monday night.

Ted Lasso ended with a big bow and feel good ending. As I read earlier, don’t be sad that it ended, be happy that it existed.

We just started Ted Lasso. Seems ok but I don’t get the hype. Storyline is mostly just Major League.

I like it, but it is a feel good family comedy....well except for the swearing, but I think you either love it or you don't.

Watched the first two episodes last night and we are done. Almost unwatchable. it's like it didn't know if it wanted to be serious or comedy. A "True Lies" vibe but completely misses the mark.

The premise is horrible......completely fucked up, BUT....that's what makes it so compelling a show. It's something I could see happening in real life under the right set of circumstances. After all, one can see many parallels with the COVID lockdowns, etc. Part of the premise surrounding "Why?" goes back to population infertility and climate change (...the demon lurking in the background of most of today's political endeavors). Subjugate an entire population of people because of climate and then use religion to justify that subjugation.
