Heard from my CA, and he specifically said dropoff in Newark on 5/17. So it seems that the boat will move quickly through the ports once it arrives in Brunswick. We'll see; these are all estimates at this point. If the GS does indeed only spend 10 hours at Brunswick, it will bode well.

Yeah - RFT since April 22 and the car is heading to Florida. Was really hoping it was going to be on that boat, but seems that "ship has sailed" :/

OK finally got confirmation that I’m on Glovis Sun, but I’m surprised that it was put on the ship in Veracruz. It’s insane to me that the system updates so slowly and that the Geniuses don’t have access to the information before it’s 3 days old.

Glovis Sun is still @ port in Altamira. https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/details/9749568
That being said, I called Genius yesterday, and at that time their last update was from 4/29. My status switched to in transit this morning on the App so I called again and they said my car has been on the boat since the 4th. So it's possible you wouldn't find out for a couple days if the vehicle is on the boat. |

It has to be frustrating for dealerships like mine who are waiting on so many cars to be shipped and want to tell customers their cars are finally on a boat.

Took delivery last night! If you wonder why it's very dirty, that's on me as I requested it to not be washed/prepped.
I *very much* like it so far. It's non-optional here in the US, but I agree that adaptive suspension is a must. It's perfectly acceptable in comfort on the freeway, but it's still stiff. Throwing it in sport suspension on the freeway is rougher than I'd want to commute in. I've only leaned into the throttle a few times and I'm staying under 4500rpm for a while, but yeah, it's very capable. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

It definitely feels electric, but I wouldn't say it feels bad. Practically every review I heard talked about how numb it felt, and I don't think it's *that* bad. I was expecting zero weighting, ultra light, etc, and that's not how I think I'd describe it (in ~48 hours of ownership.) In parking lots and slow speed it feels very light and electric, but at even ~35mph, it feels like a steering wheel. My old car (An Impreza) had hydraulic and I think it was heavier than this overall, but I don't feel a big difference at speed. Like I said, it's very light/electric in parking lots, but on the road I don't mind it at all. It gets weight in corners and I don't feel disconenected (but I haven't pushed it yet.)
