Not sure about the NJ VPC, but it appears the Port Hueneme CA VPC operates on weekends based on the timeline of my car a few weeks ago. I also found a post from a few years ago on another forum that mentioned they do process “priority 1 (sold - customer order)” cars on weekends, but not for general dealer inventory cars which are a lower priority in the supply chain.

I checked last week and was told mine would land in MD on the 20th...... Well that didn't happen. Baltimore HAS to be the next stop. I might call tomorrow and see if their info has been updated. Hopefully they only pull a few cars off in Philly and it gets moving again.
They couldn't tell me which port it was going to though. BMW has their facility at the Sparrows Point port, not the Baltimore port. Hopefully they aren't driving them from one to the other.

I finally just switched to “At the port.” Is there a 3-day delay here, or did my car get shipped to Philadelphia? I live 4 miles from the Bayonne VDC, 95 miles from Philly.

Same here just changed to at the port as it should yes with likely a delay over the weekend in Bayonne. Hoping to hear about getting on a truck soon? This week a lot of things have to align to get delivery prior to Memorial Day Weekend outside of Boston.

Got to know from Genius today that the car is at the newark VPC and a trucking service is scheduled on 24th to deliver at the Boston dealership. Dealership mentioned that there is a good chance the car could be available to deliver on Saturday 25th May

Nothing concrete at all more than they want me to come in tomorrow or Thursday for final financials and expecting delivery at some point this week is all they will commit to.

They asked me to make the final payments tomorrow so they set up a call with the business team not entirely sure what’s expected in the call though

Yeah, I heard from my CA that it's officially at the VPC as well, and my tracker status changed to "At the Port". Good to hear the 25th is possible. I will be going in Thu or Fri to finalize my trade in value and do the paperwork, then pickup Sat or Mon, depending on how long it takes them to take the xDrive/230i badges off the back.

I'm also getting mine from Sudbury. Which CA are you guys working with?

Interesting, I haven’t even told them exactly how much additional + deposit I will be putting down and finance terms yet. Will be working that out on site when I am there.

I would want to inspect the car before handing over a check? Too many anxiety moments about delivery and issues. I got the frozen grey paint so I will be inspecting it in detail before handing over a check.

My CA didn't say anything about specific delivery dates, but if Genius told Drake that there's a truck dropping our cars off on Friday, that seems pretty reliable. They definitely err on the side of caution when giving info to customers.

Keep an eye on your tracker...when it flips back to "In Transit", the cars are on a truck!

They didn’t guarantee fully and told that its their estimate and could change either way. Delivery could be either Saturday or on Tuesday is what I feel

my g87 is finally on a ship heading the VDC stateside. Confused on the tracking, they said its a week transit but marine traffic shows it's almost at the port of arrival?

Congrats guys. Hope all goes well with the deliveries. You three picking up from the same dealer have to hook up. Be cool to see them all parked in a row at some park or somewhere other than the dealer's lot.
I'm pretty sure I'm the only one at my dealer.
