Looks great! How much did that PPF and ceramic run you? I'm currently sourcing quotes.

Around 4 with paint correction also. There were a bunch of tiny spots all over from some kind of overspray or something so the whole car needed to be buffed out before ppf. BUT, the paint looked better after so I’m not that bent out of shape over it.

That’s 15%, and no windshield. I might do that in the spring.

That respray is a bummer, but glad to hear it worked out. And wow, that's a bargain! All the shops in the Bay Area (CA) are quoting me $5.5-$9k for PPF+Ceramic.

Well, Bay Area haha. The PPF, was just the front. Up to the windshield and mirrors.

Looks great. Thinking about doing 20% all around and 70% on windshield. How does the vision look at night with the ceramic tint?

On lighted city streets it’s fine. In a darker neighborhood it’s a little darker than I’m used to. I think my last car had 35 if I had to guess. I didn’t put it on.

I’m sure I’ll get used to it, as I’ve only driven it for about an hour at night so far. I’m loving the UV/IR rejection. It really works amazingly well. Phoenix car, so it matters a lot.

Ohh, ok, that makes more sense then. When I initially looked at front PPF + full ceramic it was around the same price range. Decided to go for full PPF since I plan to keep the car for a long time and would like it to stay mint.

I'm curious why nobody seems to be doing blackout on the rear windows. I'm planning to do 5% on the rear 3, 20% driver/passenger, and potentially 70% windshield.

I’m getting mine here in the Bay for $3300 cash for full front PPF+Ceramic.

Auto Pro Detail in Dublin. I am a returning customer so I might be getting a discounted deal. Hit them up and ask for the owner Marvin.

Yes. Port emailed back yesterday that the car will be released to carrier by end of this week. CA confirmed a few hours ago the car is officially released to carrier. About damn time!

Mismatching rear and front looks off though, and 5% in the front is super dark. Same shop as Searay55555 did my ppf, ceramic, tint, badging etc. I did end up doing more coverage and some extras so mine was closer to 6. Here is a vid they posted to their IG on it:

Some stills from their shop and a few more after the spacers went on.
