I've checked multiple times over the past month, Cognac doesn't show up for MY25.

The base M2 will never have AWD. It would wreck their trim level differentiation scheme.

Will we ever get a Competition model with or before the CS?

Secondhand values in the UK are absolutely tanking at the moment.. so not sure I'd be buying a new car whatever version it is. I.e. 2023 models with delivery mileages still on forecourts that have had their price reduced around £18k and that includes track pack versions with carbon seats.

no way of knowing at this stage. I cant see what the comp will add apart from M3/M4 wheels and M3/M4 tune, unless they do a comp x-drive.

The platform already sort of seems at the limit being RWD. I can’t suspect that they can meaningfully add much more usable power without AWD, which isn’t expected for some time (if we do get it at all).

There have only been a handful of things this forum has beat on; flat bottom wheel (yawn), a Comp variant (doubtful), xDrive (doubtful), Cognac (@Tag already quelled that), and Individual paint.

I’m hoping that it’s Individual. British racing green on the G87 would be aces.

But I guess it could be an official announcement for the M2 CS, which would be a bit of a letdown for me personally (selfishly).

The power bump doesn’t give me any FOMO but the individual colors does. Would also love a British Racing Green. That being said, sticking with my Brooklyn Grey.

Prblem with AWD is, while adding tons of grip, it really robs the power, so then the power has to be increased just to match the efficiency of RWD, and to combat the added weight of driving 4 corners. Not a huge deal as BMW does this well, but it's still there. And obviously the AWD performance numbers speak for themselves.
