I keep expecting freezing temps, but so far 34 degrees F is as low as we've gone.

Just got back from a contract at the ER and I got hit with flurries on my way back. I'm going to hit the sack in a minute for a few hours before I have to go to work at my regular day job.

Another short sleeve day today. It was 17C (63F) at 7am and now it's around 21C (70F) in the afternoon. Sure glad I put on my winter wheels....
The weekend and next week look to be a bit more seasonal at least. Still haven't had any actual snow, just 1 or 2 frosty mornings. |

Actually we hit 75... But for the ride it was windy both way (downhill and uphill).

Yesterday's high was a June-like 81 F-ing degrees, and the low was 60 F. The average high here is supposed to be 58 F.....

Currently 69°F. High of 71 today. Santa Ana wind event is supposed to end tonight.
Powerful winds have helped to fuel the “Mountain” fire which has burned 19,000 acres and burned down dozens of homes. Last edited by Esteban; 11-07-2024 at 03:35 PM.. |

Sunny and warm here, but windy as hell. No outside riding today.

The winds are dragging in smoke from NJ forest fires to the south of us. We're under an air quality alert until midnight, with light rain forecast this evening that will probably all evaporate before ever reaching the ground.....

Currently 62°F and sunny with a high forecasted to be 71.
More cool fall weather ahead. Love the holiday season. PS - A little rain thrown in for good measure. |

Fall is finally here, with highs in the upper 40's F for the next few days. There's a biting NNW wind outside right now, with gusts over 25 MPH. Not good for the fire situation down by the NY/NJ border, but at least we're not getting smoked out today.
FWIW, I recorded 0.24 inches of precipitation in the rain gauge over the weekend, which is the first notable rain since September. We're still under a red flag warning today, and still over 8 inches of rain short for the meteorological fall season to date.....
