Sunny and cold here right now! Expecting some rain tomorrow night into Thursday morning which will be bringing a very cold front..expecting low in the teens and highs in the 20's / low 30s. Love it!

Wore my leather jacket to work to keep the drizzle off my shoulders. I think we're up to .001" since just after 6:00 this morning. At one point it was coming down, but so lightly that it almost looked like snow

First snow of the year overnight. Just 1-2mm but it's cold enough to stick until the sun comes out. The rest of the week forecast looks like snow but a low % chance.

It's 36 F and raining here. A few miles to the north where we are going for the holiday feast, it is snowing but not sticking yet.

There's a cold spell settling in here for the next week, with winter-like temperatures.

The NYC TV talking heads were yammering on about rain on their big parade, but noted that the wind forecast was not enough to ground the balloons.....

Woke-up to a Winter Wonderland this morning. My contractor came to clear my laneway at 4am.



Although we had a good dumping, I was expecting a few more inches.

We broke 40 F for the high, which will be the last time for at least the next week. A snow squall passed over late in the afternoon, dropping a quick dusting of the white stuff for our second accumulation of the fall.....

We had 3.4 inches of snow overnight on my makeshift snowboard. Today's high will only be in the mid-30's F, with a Wind Advisory until late this evening for gusts up to 50 MPH.

Tomorrow's forecast high won't break the freezing mark, as our recent February-like weather continues for a few more days.....

I can't compete with all of these beautiful snow shots, but here's a look from my neck of the woods. Weather is beautiful now following a good amount of rain last week. I just put up the Christmas lights on the fence and looked out to see that they were photobombed by the Moon and Saturn.

I love the nice weather and all but we need snow in the Sierra. It's time to go skiiing!
