So not even a website? Those were screenshots off my BMW app. Or, do you have to always check in with your CA?

4/29 - ordered
5/31 - entering assembly line
6/3 - final assembly
6/17 - RFT

7/17 - at dealership

These are tracker dates which were pretty consistently 2 or 3 days behind the actual status

Mine is 195 and at sea. The genius said they don’t know which ship it’s on but I think it’s the Hamburg highway. Delivery due last week of august.

Yep. Not even on the website. The only ones that have access are the ones that did your order. Not even another dealership.

I think I have a screenshot from when my order was done. I ve put my vin number and from day 1 and to the delivery "your bmw will arrive soon" and had some photos/videos of some renderings of it.


I was the one learning my dealer how to use vessel finder and how to see where it is thanks to this forum I found some sherlock holmes skills

I took delivery of the car last Friday. I've got 250mi on it now and love it so far. I'm genuinely surprised how dark the paint looks when it is overcast out, but seeing the car in person absolutely reinforced how Thundernight over Cognac was the correct choice for my build. Total time between order and delivery was 74 days.

That is rapid! Mines not due at the dealer until the last week of August and it was built in the 1st week of June. It does have a lot further to travel though.

Anyone receive build date for a MY25 yet? I spec'd one out at a smaller local dealership and they told me mine would be built with the first allocation they get but they did not officially have one yet (they still have a MY24 in production and one on the lot I think). I thought I saw on another thread someone who's dealership told them they had an August allocation? My guess was MY25 production would start in late August but that is just a guess. Since my dealership doesn't have an allocation yet, I'm probably looking at September or worst case October build date.

I placed order on 7/9 for MY25, got production number right away since my dealer had allocation. The following week I emailed BMW genius and was told I'm build week 32 (8/5-8/9)....
I got the VIN number yesterday (7/23) and I just checked the website and it just changed to status 150 (Production begins) today (7/24).... so hopefully I'm two weeks ahead of schedule.
I'm also doing PCD.

Cool, looking at your signature, I also have an F30 (2013 335xi). It will be moving outside of our garage for my kids to take to school and run around to activities with (17 and 14) and my G42 will be for me and me alone once it arrives :-). Wife's car is non BMW SUV. I am jealous of the x3 :-).

We just picked up the X3 this March at PCD, loved the experience so much that I'm doing it for the 240 as well lol.

Hi everyone, first post here!
My order for M240 (2025) will be placed next wednesday and the estimated arrival is november, so not yet on the G42 boat! I'm still struggling on the color choice, right now I'm going for Portimao (with 792M and M Performance spoiler) but I really like the "idea" of Zandvoort (never really seen live, and wife hates it from pictures) or a "safe" Brooklin Grey. (my actual car is a Mineral white G20, love it but looking for something new)

For the EU guys, 3 years ago when I ordered my G20 https://bimmer.work/ was working for production tracking with a VIN code, don't know if you already know it.

I almost bought the M2 just because of the Zandvoort blue, so my vote is for that since you can get it on the G42 now lol
