I don't count my SPK "kills." How many come in a normal, single-serving pack? I'm doing the Special Olympics Torch Run today around 10:30, maybe an extra punch for the run.

Ugh so only an hour into my workout and I can't focus because the only leg workout that's working is the 3rd one lol! Let me explain. Doing heavy leg presses and this hottie next to me in the squat rack is just freakin gorgeous! Good God she's wearing the typical Gym Shark yoga pants in light grey...get this...has the top of her pants rolled down just below her hips to which her black lace thong the string comes up and over her hips about 1.5"! How do I know its lace? Cause her yogas are so tight and see through I can see the lace patterns coming through impossible to do leg presses when all your blood is going somewhere else...talk about wanting to feel the pump in your muscles. I had to look around and find the fastest chick to get my mind off this just so I can stand up.

Lmao, I've been there man, but usually only when the rest of my body is overworked and I need an "off day". Cardio days are honestly underrated, it's great to up your stamina. I see benefits towards the end of my workouts, less fatigue!

Was out riding today and saw my shadow. Not a pleasant sight. I really need some abs conditioning. I have one of those inflatable exercise balls. Are scrunches still the best way of toning up the abs?

Rmtt talking about cardio days had me in the mood for one this morning. Incline treadmill for 15, followed by two ab circuits, finished up with a 3 mile run in which I was hustling. During the last 1.5mile I was at 9mph for a mile of it and 10mph for the last half. Almost threw up, worth it lol.

Lol....pretty much. But since I'm getting ready for the beach, all my scheduled "off" days are basically now cardio days with a little ab work.

But I typically get some forearm training in at that time too since I don't specifically train them.

Yesterday I got plenty of forearm work in. Decided I would do some rack pulls to get a feeler for my deadlift workout coming later in the week.

Worked up to 495lbs for reps pulling from about two inches below my knees, focusing on keeping my scapula retracted, and engaging my traps and mid-back.

Didn't have to break out the straps until my first set with 455. I pull with a forward grip, so towards the end of the set the bar has rolled down almost to just my fingers holding on!

Oh....and next weekend is the day my gym owner promotes our county's "Super-Natural" bodybuilding show.

So the gym was full of women's figure competitors which was nice, but also full of guys going through their pump and pose routine.

I may go watch the pre-judging as I have a few friends competing.

All I get is a belly if I overdo calories. I go slight surplus and make sure I get enough protein. 1lb per lb of body weight should be enough.

Same here....I learned a long time ago that it doesn't take that much of a calorie surplus to gain quality weight. Anything more and you are just fooling yourself.

Besides.....your not going to add an extreme amount of muscle anyway unless you are using "special supplements".

I'm at the point that if I put on 5lbs of quality weight a year, I'm doing good.
