Looks like you've got yourself a 2024 version - well done! Great to see all the cars coming through - drove past an M2 last week in Sydney while I was in mine - we did the customary nod of the head. The car has great presence on the load and people do stare as it goes past, more than any other car that I've owned, but that's not really saying much. |

Just an FYI my insurance company just knocked me back because the M Performance carbon fibre air inlets. Seems a massive joke to me. I made the point that it adds extra protection to the radiators. Gone back to the assessors to re-judge. Fingers crossed they see sense and don't terminate the policy.

I guess I figured if I was in a crash and didn't acknowledge it on the policy then they might not cover the damage costs and then I am screwed. I sometimes forget I am dealing with uneducated people who work for these insurance companies. Lesson learnt.

Put a nice dent in the running in today, up to 1100km now! Big loop from Hobart up the East coast and across to the central highlands- weather was amazing 👌

So, finally, it was our turn yesterday! After a couple of short drives yesterday it is very apparent just how potent this car is. Of particular interest is that I find the wife heading to the garage just to have a look. Can’t get any better than that!😁

According to Port Kembla's website the scheduled arrival is the 29th October, and departure on the 30th. Hopefully that wont delay the onward journey to Melbourne. |

Its only a day sail time to Melbourne. The timing for Melbourne arrival is due to port congestion at Melbourne. So it looks like its going to do circle work outside the heads for a few days before being allowed to berth on the 6th.

Just an update on the customs times, which is not too bad! My car arrived Melbourne 17/10. Delivered to the dealer yesterday (27/10), and car’s ready for pickup Tuesday (31/10). Unfortunately can’t take time off work, so going in on Saturday. Pretty much 12 months after I put down my order!

You Sydney guys should be happy. The Fidelio is doing circle works outside the port and should be docking today I believe.
The schedule for Melbourne is all over the shop. For those playing at home, its currently saying the 3rd Nov but Mirrat have not scheduled a berth for it yet so who knows. |
