Just call your dealer or genius and ask. If you had called a week or 2 ago no doubt they wouldve told you it was on the boat.

My car was unloaded from the Glovis Challenge in Baltimore last week and has finally switched to “in transit” on its way to the dealership! I’m hopeful it’ll be ready by Friday. It’s been a long wait since I placed the order on 7/20, but it’s so close now and totally worth it. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

What do you mean by “first” at the port. I’ve only had one port update and that was today. I talked to my genius and he said it shipped from plant to exit port on 10/15.

Ultimately I just need to be patient lol but it’s confusing.

I feel like based on what my genius told me it should be port of Baltimore by now.

In transit to where???? USA port Baltimore or In transit to the dealership??? I’m more confused now, but I’ll take any updates at this point!! My anxiety can’t take another 25 days of No UPDATES…lol.

When you get to the “at the port stage” this initially means “at the port in Mexico” then it goes to in transit, which means on the ship headed to Baltimore “and probably 4-5 other stops before Baltimore”.

Once it gets to Baltimore, it then moves back to at the port again. And then will go back to in transit once it’s loaded on truck.

If you just got to “at the port” for the first time. It’s at the Mexican port, not Baltimore. It took me 30-40 days to leave Mexico and get to Baltimore. The ship made 5 stops before Baltimore. Hopefully yours isn’t as long of a cruise

My G87 is on Glovis Sun. Everything updated this morning and I called genius. It left Veracruz on 10/18. Glovis Sun is currently in Altimara. It will be here in NY on 11/11.

Mine was also on the 2 week late Glovis Challenge, arrived at the dealer this morning (Illinois)

I also got bumped up to "in transit" today.

Is there any news on the supposed re-designed skid plate for the 240i with the Tire/Cooling package option? All 240i's coming in to my dealer are without the package, showroom orders. I am their first customer spec'ed order.

Where is your car headed? You can call BMW genius and they'll tell you what ship you're on.

If you know where it left from and on what day, you might be able to figure it out.

BMW uses a few, Wallenius Wilhelmsen, K Line, NYL Line, Hyundai Glovis, and there may even be others.
