That sounds pretty reasonable. There are a lot of moving pieces here so I guess we will all have to be patient. Can't help but speculate though!

But my good man is the #1 M sales person in the US so hopefully he gets a decent number of allocations.
I got my M3 from him last year and even with the shortage and not having any allocation, I took delivery only 2 months after ordering.

Yeah possibly. I was feeling pessimistic from the previous post about a Q4 delivery for 4th in line

Jeez. I just waited a year for a C8 allocation and cancelled it for the M2. I just want a new car, please BMW! #6 on the wait list at a large M dealer in SE USA for MSRP. I guess it now has 35 people on the list. But they at least sounded confident on the phone that allocations are coming soon.

I'm allergic to paying dealer markup, and the symptoms include not getting car.

Im surprised you couldn't get a C8. Heard they are starting to crack.

Really… I know of someone that ordered a C8 and had it within three months. That included the wait for an allocation, production to delivery.

yo aqui igual y me han comentado que hasta primeros de enero no tendremos semana de producción y nuevo estatus .

I'm scheduled for the month of May here in Paris.
the dates and week of production for customers will be given from the first days of January.
production starts on 12/22/2022 but they make the HEA cars first .

Production starts 12/8 in Mexico but they didn't give me a date. With me being first on the list, and I'm in Oklahoma, I'm an 18 hour drive from the plant lol. They said to expect April.

Week 49 official begins this Sunday. I grant you by tomorrow or Thursday there are production G87s in the body shop and headed towards the paint shop by Friday.

FYI, (SOP) start of production would not begin on a Thursday as BMW North American factories, Plant Spartanburg and Plant Mexico are idle on weekends.

123 days until April 1. If I had to guess the launch will not be until the second week of April.

I’m #1 for an allocation with my dealer, and planning to retire ~April 15, so it could be a nice retirement present for me! (and yes being in my early 60’s I’m probably not the typical demographic for this car)
