Same here, at port of arrival 8/21, online tracker already updated. Wonder how long the 25 min ride to the dealership will take, 2 weeks? 3 weeks? Random stop sale, they crash the car. At this point, nothing would shock me honestly. lol

That is crazy, I can understand (a bit) that it would take a while to get it on a boat... but a month on the boat to go literally maybe a 2 day (Im guessing) journey ...

That boat was a month long cruise that made no sense. Mexico, Texas, Mexico, Georgia, Florida, Philly, 4 Ports in Baltimore, Newark....like what? lol

Its a domino effect of a delay at the first port. Unfortunately, with the ports being full and under a set shipping schedule, qhen the ship is delayed out of one port, it causes delays and waiting your turn to be able to get into every future port stop to offload.

My CA called me this morning and said the car is in the VPC, estimated departure is 8/25 this Friday. Could take more or less. If all goes well I could take delivery end of this week!!

It’s a 5 day sail straight from Mexico to NJ. This captain just happened to be on hard drugs and the ports were overcrowded. Also lots of stops.

Are you going to be waiting on any port installed parts?

Hi everyone. I've been lurking up until this point but have been checking out all of the threads and resources on here. I put a deposit down back in February and got my allocation at the end of June. It seems like on the "Track My BMW" site things skip ahead pretty quickly from time to time. I went from "Ready for Transport" on 8/18 to "In Transit" as of this morning. The steps on Greg's spreadsheet don't seem to line up with the last few steps on the BMW site so I guess I'm just trying to get a better idea of how far out I am from here?

I have updated the spreadsheet and added total days from allocation to arrival at the dealer, which I think is a key stat. You can see it has gone down on average from early May allocations on.

Car arrived at Oxnard 8/22, loaded onto transport 8/24, expected to arrive at dealer 8/29 or 8/30. Delivery 9/1.

I was initially Week 37 and now it says W36, and the production date is set for 9/04. I have a Alpine White MT, and all options except the carbon seats. I have the Carbon Roof, Carbon interior, heated wheel, wireless charger, parking assistant, shadowline, lighting package, esim, live cockpit.

I think the rumors are true re: the carbon fiber seats holding up other builds.

Damn. I hope it’s not true!

My sales rep has contacted the regional manager at BMW for verification that my build week (42) is still accurate and whether the carbon seats will cause a delay. But we will not hear back until after Labor Day because the manager is on vacation.

I will post up whatever info I get.

While I like Toronto Red, I may like Melbourne Red a tad more as it appears to have more depth.
