My car is going to Texas so I might board the Toscana but the Toronto doesn't show on the schedule for Wallenius Wilhemsen anymore? That ship should be in veracruz soon with stops in galveston, brunswick and baltimore I believe.

The Toronto isn’t going to Veracruz anymore. It’s only going to Altamira. It gets there November 5th. It goes Manzanillo -> Galveston -> Altamira -> Brunswick -> Baltimore.

I’m doing a PCD also, but no port options being installed currently…the HAS is tempting though. Had heard the PC was backed up, but hoping by the time we get on a ship and get to Brunswick, it won’t be as bad. Fingers crossed…

Right now I’m mostly hoping for the Glovis Sunrise. Maybe the Toronto, Frontier Ace, or Grande California, but don’t feel as good about those.

We hope to get some details soon as to whose cars made this Glovis Cardinal ship that left Altamira this morning. Glovis Sunrise is in route to Veracruz and its scheduled to make a few east coast drop offs at a minimum. Hopefully more than what the schedule is showing.

M340 prod date 9/15, but didn't hit RFT until 9/29 so I missed the Glovis Cardinal run up the East Coast at the end of September. Just popping in to let you know I'm pulling my hair out with the rest of you after wondering for 6 weeks when my car might get onto a ship!

Welcome to the taco and margs party...we're envious of the life our cars are living right now, hanging out partying in Mexico while I'm here "working" (read: refreshing my BMW tracker/checking on here to see if anyone has gone to dispatched or whatever it is when its on a boat)

Also guys, I spent $5 last night to get a 24hour satellite membership on vesselfinder but haven't seen anything notable, anyone want me to check anything? I have a few more hours left granted i have to head to the airport in like 2.5 hours.

Oh wow! Thanks for searching. What additional access does it give you? Do you have any historical data of ships that BMW has used, schedules, etc?

The 9/29 RFT on the g20's, specifically m340's, with long production times seems to be a pattern. I sat in final assembly for 9 days and been in the same situation as you since, and have seen other's waiting on 340's that have had similar experiences.

Honestly it wasn't really worth it for historical data, my time ran out and it doesn't even give the vessels current schedule, just more detail about its current route in progress (ie: last port and destination port) along with filtering ability at other ports for specific types of vessels.

Example: I only saw 1 vehicle carrier vessel expected at NY/NJ and that is on 11/4 and coming from europe so provided not benefit to me. (or you since you're in boston and I believe your car will also go through NY/NJ)

From what I understand, while on the move, the tracker will alternate back and forth between At the Port and In Transit, so there's no distinction in the tracker between port of departure and port of entry, etc. Once you're loaded onto a ship, you'll have to track the ship to know what port you're at, or which one you're going to.
