Personally I already witnessed very bright minds in top level jobs jeopardizing and even ruining their careers and relationships because of sex. They simply couldn't resist the urge and the kick of it, losing their minds. Clear warnings that it was a recipe for disaster, were to no avail.

Hard-coded inside the reptilian brain, I guess ?

Meanwhile, let us also remember that Max said said his dad isn't a liar, and his dad has said Horner is the problem...but then again, one must consider that they both might be lying.

There is no timeline. His comments are from the same pre Saudi race interview. He said he supports his dad and also said he is absolutely staying with Red Bull.

At some point the media will finally realize...Thai ownership is keeping Horner, Max is staying with Red Bull, Red Bull will continue winning all the races.

Yeah, many think the Verstappens have come to realize that the controlling Thai side of RedBull values keeping Horner and Newey more.

Yes, indeed, so have I. Perhaps I’m lucky that my sweetie and her two girlfriends give me everything that I man needs.

And who's fault is that ? Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
During the press conference earlier today, Horner was all about "pitiful me" and "pitiful mine", with a sentimental plea for a 'back to business as usual'. Not a single word about taking responsibility for past actions showing poor judgment and lack of integrity, no words of empathy for his subordinate (disrespected, humiliated, sent into exile and hunted by press).

What are RBR employees supposed to think about their little general, leading by questionable example ?

Porsche must be relieved that no collaboration materialized.

Horner accuser suspended following investigation
The complainant in the investigation into Red Bull team principal Christian Horner’s behavior has been suspended, RACER understands.
Horner was accused of inappropriate behavior by a female colleague and faced an internal investigation, which ended with the grievance being dismissed last week. RACER now understands that the complainant has been suspended on full pay due to Red Bull believing there were inaccuracies and concerns relating to the evidence given in that investigation.
“It’s very challenging, because when there’s children involved, when there’s families, parents, etc., involved, it’s not pretty. And the reality is that there was a grievance that was raised. It was dealt with in the most professional manner by the group, not by Red Bull Racing, but by the owners of Red Bull Racing – Red Bull GmbH – that appointed an independent KC (King’s Counsel) that is one of the most reputable KCs in the land. He took time to investigate fully, all of the facts.
“I spoke to Jos following the grand prix [in Bahrain] and obviously congratulated him on his son’s performance. And I think it’s in everybody’s interests collectively that we’ve agreed to move on, to focus on the future.

“We both have a vested interest in his son to get the best and to provide the best cars for him and to get the best out of him. And he’s started the season in the best possible way. He’s an outstanding talent and hopefully we can continue to provide him a very competitive car.”

UK press criticizing Horner's "Me, Myself and I" behavior.
"Portraying himself as the victim is not a good look for Christian Horner - or for Formula One. He demonstrated a failure of empathy by not addressing his accuser's feelings
Daily Mail - MailOnline - Jonathan McEvoy - Mar 7, 2024 (updated Mar 8, 2024)
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-feelings.html

It might have been easier for Christian Horner to play the 'leave my family alone' card if he had not paraded through the Bahrain paddock last week hand-in-hand with his wife, Geri, for all the world and its photographers to witness.
This whole grubby affair has been an unedifying spectacle for all those close to it to observe, just as it has been riveting for those who have absorbed it vicariously through newsprint, with story after staggering revelation for weeks on end.
The latest twist came on Thursday when the woman in the eye of the storm, an unnamed female colleague of Horner at Red Bull, was suspended from her job in the Milton Keynes factory, albeit on full pay.
In a sport that talks about diversity almost as much as tyres this was hardly an advert for inclusivity. Remember that when accusations of inappropriate behaviour were made against Horner he stayed in post, talking of 'business as normal'.
It was nothing of the sort, of course, but the fact he remained at the helm ran against the natural order of such procedures that usually involve the accused stepping down as an investigation is pursued.
It should be noted, however, that the internal inquiry, headed by a KC, found the 50-year-old husband of a former Spice Girl innocent of charges of coercive behaviour. He was permitted to carry on after a process that took two months, 60 hours of interviews and 150 pages.
Still, to a wider public this is an excruciatingly bad look — man does not resign, man is cleared, woman is marginalised.
Now, there are some major caveats to insert at this point. According to Horner supporters, the woman's evidence was misleading and inaccurate, perhaps even dishonest. These assertions are unsubstantiated, but may turn out to be true and a final verdict on the fairness of her suspension must wait.
Horner's side further claim that some of the WhatsApp messages of a purportedly sexually suggestive nature — leaked 24 hours after Horner was cleared — start with lower case letters, where the platform automatically caps up the first letter. That is apparently not so on laptop connections, but Horner, it is said, does not have WhatsApp on his computer, just on his phone.
It remains to be seen whether she appeals the inquiry's decision. She has a five-day window to do so from the time the final legal letters confirming the findings of the investigation were served to both parties. That happened on Monday or Tuesday of this week.
Yet, whatever the legal intricacies, Horner's blithe press conference remarks on Thursday were disappointing for portraying himself as the victim. He talked of how hard it was for his wife and three children. He was right, of course, to feel their anguish. But their pain is, to put it mildly, hardly unrelated to his actions.
He might have said it was hard for everyone involved — his family, the woman and the Red Bull team. Yes, he has gone through the wringer in an unenviably public way, but he demonstrated a failure of empathy by not addressing his accuser's feelings when asked if he sympathised with her.

Formula One Group, who own the sport, and the FIA, the sport's ruling body, have shamefully sat on the sidelines throughout, spouting token platitudes.
They might instead have launched a review of their own and thus negated the suspicion in some quarters that the Red Bull probe was too cosy and that the majority shareholder, Thai billionaire Chalerm Yoovidhya, was minded to favour Horner from the outset.
One understands Horner wants to move on to racing matters as quickly as possible, to draw a line under the farrago, which may have worked out were the topic not persistently headline news.
Nor is Horner helped by the fact that triple world champion Max Verstappen, his star driver, is so disgruntled by the mess that he is apparently considering moving to a new team, likely encouraged by his incandescent father Jos. Mercedes are favourites to claim the signature of a racer who is currently without equal.
Leaving Red Bull? Moving to their arch rivals? That would not have seemed possible a few weeks ago, but is distinctly so now. That is a statement on affairs in this sad tale that has damaged everyone it has touched."

Almost certainly Horner's wings have been fully clipped by his wife last week. As a humiliated wife, she must have read him the riot act and will now call the shots about what he can do and say about the suspended RBR employee (as well as regarding any prospective personal assistant). He must have been reduced to a 'doormat' ever since: should he fail to do exactly what she orders, he'll be in worse matrimonial trouble. Horner hypothetically expressing empathy for the suspended RBR employee would be perceived by his deeply hurt wife as adding insult to injury. And the moral price Horner will be required to 'pay' his wife as quid pro quo for the awkward 'happy couple' parade on the Bahrain paddock last week, will be almost prohibitively high. She did it - but her wish is his command now.

Horner will now experience upclose and for a long time how it feels to be on the receiving end of "excessive controlling behavior": the hunter became the hunted - how ironic...
