I considered the bigger engine which was in my 440i but decided on the smaller engine and lighter weight. Don’t need the extra power. Similarly equipped RWD M240i would have been about 5k higher.

Per BMW 230i 3446 lbs; M240i 3748 lbs.

Same here. Black m240ix with black sensa interior. No ZTK, moonroof delete. Been waiting over a month for a status change and got several updates this morning (at the port, now in transit).

I'm in SD and I see you're in NE - willing to bet we get ours within a day of each other!

I called Genius this morning and they didn't yet have a vessel assigned.

Haven't heard from my SA. It's his day off today. But I was moved to "In Transport" today and I got an email letting me know that my car is on the Glovis Sunlight and expected to be in the USA on December 17.

Who did you get the email from about the carrier assignment? Can I ask how long you were in "ready for transport"?

I emailed BMW customer relations customerrelations@bmwusa.com and asked for clarification as to whether it was port in Mexico or port in USA. I kinda knew it was Mexico, but I had been in RFT since the end of October, and I thought maaaaaybe there was a chance it passed all the steps and was in the USA. They responded with that info and a link to track the ship. (And politely directed me to the Genius line)

I've only been in RFT for a week so it looks like I have another 4 weeks or so to get to "In Transit"

Have some faith, you're gonna be on this boat. Same thing happened to me where everyone else's car went in transit but mine didn't, but mine was on the same boat.

I have a question about which port it's being dropped off at. The Genius recording said it scheduled to arrive at Baltimore on 12/16. The paperwork from my build has NYC as "Port Loc". Will it be dropped off in Baltimore or NYC?

How long does it take to go from 'scheduled for production' (current status of my 230i ) to 'production begins' on track my BMW? A week? Two weeks? More? And how long for assembly to be completed? Would appreciate input from you guys. Thanks.

It goes to port Jersey and then goes on a truck to Sudbury. Congrats! exact same thing happened to me lol

Finally got an update. Looks like my car got on a truck yesterday. Should be at the dealer any day now.

Arrived at the port on 11/10, so 32 days at the port. That's crazy. Seems like after all of this, the hold up was the M Performance wing. Thankfully, it's on the car now.

It's almost over.

It only took me a day to get my VIN and go to scheduled for production. Then production started 12 days later. Your experience may differ.

1 week to arrive to sudbury from when the boat docked, couple more days for the title to get to the dealer.
