My order on January 30th, with production date just this week and delivery scheduled for the second week of June.

I do not know what production quotas you have in Andorra, in Spain when I ordered mine, only 4 were available until the next batch...

It seems that we will have them on the same dates....

Si, luego por lo visto las fechas de entrega pueden variar semana arriba o abajo dependiendo del transporte en barco, y del propio transporte desde el puerto (no sé si llegan a Vigo o a Bilbao en este caso). Parece ser que hasta que no tienen fabricados todos los que van en la misma tanda de entrega (que entiendo que en España es para Junio), no salen, y que entre el primero que entra en producción de esa tanda, hasta el último pasa casi un mes... así que cabe la posibilidad que el tuyo se fabrique de primero de la tanda... y esté esperando tres semanas en puerto antes de salir hacia destino. OJO, es lo que tengo entendido por lo que he leído por ahí, no puedo confirmar que sea realmente así. Si tenéis más información, se agradece

Es que no me fío yo mucho de lo que me dice el "comercial" que me atendió... ya se equivocó antes en varias cosas....

Amazing! In Andorra this was the only allocation available in the short-term in order to receive the car before summer… I was lucky. Here a lot more people order M3/M4 xdrive due to the snow… not many M2 allocations as a demand is low.

Thank you for the details! The dealer in Andorra told me that the ship will arrive to Santander. 2 years ago I received an Audi RS3 8Y and it also arrived in ship to Santander. I was expecting end of August delivery and I actually got the car delivered in mid July!! Hopefully the M2 also arrives 1 month early 🤪 The BMW dealer told me that it is frequent for the cars to arrive a bit ahead of time.

According to my dealer the VIN is assigned and informed to the customer as soon as it starts production. It should be the same in Spain. Have you managed to track the order in “My BMW App with the production order number? I am unable without the VIN…

I have doubts that it will arrive directly from Mexico to Santander. I would say that it will first pass through Rotterdam or some other European port. It is a shame that we Europeans cannot follow the same route as we can in the USA.

And you can't with VIN either. It only configures four things, but it doesn't even tell you where it is.

I placed the order on December 30, 2024, it was manufactured in week 7 and 8 of 2025 and they expect delivery in week 15 of 2025, I have calculated that it will be in mid-April.
The issue of the port to Spain used to come directly to Santander, now I don't know...
On the other hand, they give you the VIN in the week of production and with the VIN in the mybmw APP you can't track anything from Spain (a shame).
Discounting the days until it arrives and looking forward to seeing it and driving it!

I got my VIN for US based car at beginning of production. I think you can see it on the My BMW Garage website if I'm not mistaken. I remember I had to use the website with the production number since the My BMW app needs the VIN and one day the VIN was on the site.

Thank you very much for the answers! I am almost certain that my M2 F87 arrived at the port of Vigo at that time, but it was seven years ago now, and the F87, if I remember correctly, were produced in Germany, so they have probably changed the port to which they arrive. In any case, the seller also told me the same thing, that almost always orders were brought forward as to the expected date. May it be so!

As for the app, I’m afraid that in Spain is exactly the same, it only allows you to enter the VIN, so I was wondering when they give you that number.

This week, I will stop by the dealership and ask if they already have the VIN, as my car was supposed to start production between last week and the current one. We’ll see what they tell me.
