Ah, ok. At some point you should go to status 150 which means you have been issued a production date and an actual VIN. Your CA or BMW Genius should be able to tell you what build week your allocation is for. (Mine was week 25) As you get closer to your build week they will schedule you for an actual day during that week.

How do you get the name of the boat??!
My status is now 165…BMW genius told me today “The current order status is 165 - transit from Mexico to Bremerhaven. This was updated on the 19.06.2024” Could the car be in Germany? How long does it take to cross the Atlantic?! |

Well, this is crazy. My M2 suddenly went from "Ready for transport" to "In transit".... meaning "awaiting carrier assignment", "dispatched from the factory", and "at the port" were skipped entirely. Funnily enough, I updated my port installed options just yesterday!

Congrats to those whose cars are moving around. I’ve been ready for transport (RFT) since June 20.

I'm guessing that when it updates it'll be way further along than what they've actually reported. To be honest though, I would be kind of surprised if my M2 actually skipped all those phases. This would mean that they installed the MP HAS and carbon inlets in less than 24 hours after I updated my order mid-day. Truly seems unlikely.

Moved into “Production Begins” today and now have a VIN assigned. Very exciting to see that and makes this all feel “real” now.
