Mentioned in the videos... the M2 and G42 share the hood, doors and trunk lid.
If I get an G42, I look forward to a more robust aftermarket with the M2 out that may benefit the G42. |

The G87 M2 looks fantastic. Love the wide aggressive proportions.

And I thought the G42 was a wide car, especially with those stick-on arch extensions. But man, that G87 is brutal!

I dig it, it looks much better than the spy shots lead on. I can't wait to see some g42 v g87 videos when it comes out. I love my M240i, so I'm sure the M2 will be a blast. An X drive variant would be great as others have stated.

Sorry for my Photoshop skills but I made some changes and I think it looks better. One I added the M3/M4 headlights, and on the other option I made the headlights without the grill like the M240i.
What do you think?

I like the first pic best, but the one with the M240i headlights just doesn't work on this bumper. I wish they had double lensed headlights like the M3/4. All they really have to do to make it fit the theme is make the halos boxy.

Anyway to retrofit the 240i kidneys into the M2? Would possibly save the M2s front design.
