New G87 M2 rear pic leaked! (June 7)

2 series rear is ugly and this is only marginally better, I think the front and side shots will be great though. As with all BMW's it will look better lowered. I'll always welcome more color options on the m2's.

100% agree. This is not a good picture and the color doesn't really do justice for the lines of the car also

Can someone with photoshop skills change the body paint to black to match the diffuser? Would like to see if that normalizes things.

It almost looks like the car is mid assembly and needs to be pressed down and snapped into place.

All these "leaked" photos are not really leaked, every time I see a "leaked" photo, the next day the car is revealed. So it's not so leaked.

Almost certain to be body colored except for front and rear diffuser. Glad they at least got that right bc the gloss black on the g80 looks awful and is difficult to keep scratch free.

Interesting that they're sticking with the horrendous looking rear end. The taillights especially look very bad, they're undersized and don't really flow with the other lines of the rear

I dig it! I like the color and the more aggressive rear helps the tail lights look better. Also, I appreciate that BMW ditched the gloss black side skirts and avoided a strange LCI M340i style rear diffuser.

I don't think I can form an opinion on the design based on a floor level photo. I mean how often do you look at cars from that angle? Only if you hear a weird sound when parking.

Hopefully the design and proportions come together when viewed from a normal human angle.

Will anyone be happy with the G87 looks? The F87 spoiled us I guess.
I like what I see and won't compare yet. I prefer the
Vertical grille lines to the front horizontal grille slats, not a deal breaker.
I agree that Id prefer a Competition version upgrade obviously, if thats on the timeline. In the end, I will decide based on the over all driving experience, integrated performance, and capability. If it looks like Im expecting, and we see improvements in a few key areas I wont elaborate, Im game. Wish list. Hydraulic steering feel. Heard the Emira does 🙂
