Money talks. Per our store’s experience most individuals do not want to purchase a vehicle that has been used as a demo for various test drives unless they receive some sort of a discount. We are in still in a position where we are not discounting anything.

Different behaviors in different parts of the country I guess. There are dealerships around here that are withholding their initial non-HEA allocations with a $10,000 ADM and last I checked, nobody has bitten. If anyone wants to line dealership pockets, send me a DM and I'll put you in contact with a sales person.

I doubt there will be test drives unless the car has been sitting in the showroom for a month or more, or if the person asking has a special relationship with a sales manager (or higher). I plan on going down and seeing an hea once they arrive but have no expectations of driving it.

People on this forum have lately been helping each other avoid adm, which in turn helps the market as a whole. Helping a dealership get 10k extra seems counter intuitive.

I was 100% being sarcastic, hence the comment about lining some rich person's pocket. Lol. Screw any dealer with ADM.

We have dropped ADMs for local clientele. It still exist for out-of-state buyers.

Edit, Our ADM never been $10k.

As a buyer I can appreciate ADMs for non local clients only. Keep the resellers from buying up all the inventory and screwing everyone over.

I agree, I don't have a problem with that policy. Flippers are a bane on our hobby as well, IMO.

I hate ADMs as well. I am also closing a deal where I am paying 17k over sticker for a used Bronco. It's completely asinine.

My dealer's HEA car comes in supposedly on April 10th and is currently on a truck. I texted my sales guy.

To my dealer's surprise they still don't know when my car will show up. They're hoping next week but have no concrete information.

That's annoying, though it never surprises me when dealers don't know something lol

To be fair, it is a bit of an unknown. Once the hold is released, they have to get a truck for shipment to the dealership which can be a wildcard and cause a potential delay (sometimes short, sometimes not so short).

Last October when I got my M240, it took 2-3 days to secure a truck for delivery from Brunswick to South Florida.
