To ‘land the plane’ on the brakes, BMW calls out M car brake systems have ‘M compound brake disk, perforated.’

Don’t see that in literature or in person for XM. There must be some engineering reason. With that said, if they show up on the Label Red and not base (cough) XM, that would be silly at the cost and philosophy of the XM (purported halo car).

The last attachment is from G05 manual. First two from F95/6 manual.
