I haven't had any strange dreams lately, but apparently I occasionally talk in my sleep.
My freshman year of college my roommate told me that I was dead asleep and snoring up a storm when I sat straight up in bed, eyes still closed, and said "Everybody calm down and shut the f*** up!"

lol yeah I read it....god I hate when it happens when it's a good dream. I also notice that someone posted something about being awake but not moving your body/ suffocating , same here.... when I was a kid it had happened to me, except in my dream the TMNT where trying to suffocate me ... but I totaly HATE that feeling of being awake while trying to get your body to move.....freaks me out when it happens

Just remember, the only dreams that you will really remember, are the ones that you wake up in between, or even for a moment.
You dream every night, it is called REM sleep, i.e. Rapid Eye Movement, and you go through cycles as you sleep, but only when/if you wake up in REM sleep, that is where you'll remember most or parts of your dream. |

nice pic lol
one thing ive noticed is that when i sleep really late, like early morning...i get really weird long dreams that ill remember. but if i was to sleep at like 12 or 1...i get nothing and when i sleep really late, i wake up once and sleep for another hour or so. so ill have a really long dream that lasts the entire night lol and then wake up, go back to sleep and have another short dream and i understand that you dream a lot in a night, and you only remember like one or so, but my dreams form together into one haha. at least thats what it seems like

^yeah, you might remember fragments or big chunks or even the whole dream.
We don't exactly understand the human mind yet, much less our consciousness when we sleep. |
